I called ahead and they said I did not need to prescheule. The wait time for walk in a was ridiculous at over 3 hours. The worst was that no one kept you updated or warned you how long you would wait.

Front desk staff acts like a bunch of racist. Every time if been there waiting in line staff talks to black folks like they should . But when they talk to me ,when i step up in totally different tone . Im use to this in a convenience store , but not at a professional office.

Dr Kimpton, I had been battling lower back pain for almost a week. It progressively got worse and being without insurance I decided to go to Drs Care in Georgetown. I signed in online and showed up when prompted. It still took an hour before I was seen. There was no examination he just asked my symptoms and I explained how the pain had gotten progressively worse over time even though I had been taking anti inflammatory meds and staying off of my feet. He then told me he couldn’t do anything for me besides prescribe more anti inflammatory drugs and refer me to a specialist. He also said that “if I were in real pain I should just go to the ER. I went home, took my meds and woke up with the same terrible pain. I was at wits end so I decided to go to the ER where I was seen by a nurse practitioner named Patty. Patty asked if I had ever had a UTI and asked to check my urine. Low and behold I had a serious UTI and the infection was in my kidneys. I was then given a prescription for antibiotics and I am already feeling some relief. Dr Kimpton is an arrogant jerk and made me feel like my pain was insignificant and charged me $135 dollars for absolutely nothing. A UTI is a fairly common occurrence, something any GP should be able to identify. Dr Kimpton is an idiot!
