Courteous staff, appropriate wait time. Testing was booked on Saturday by the time I tried to walk-in. They gave me an appointment for the following day and honored it. Currently awaiting test results. VERY SATISFIED.

Doctor was very helpful with my situation and gave me a referral for a cyst to be removed that I've been dealing with for years that flares up about 3 times a year but I was told it was to small to be removed by my dermatologist . Very happy with the doctor and the staff . Definitely 5 stars from me

ZERO Stars was My Overall Experience Today with Velocity Urgent Care Chimney Hill, in Virginia Beach Virginia ! YES, ZERO Effin' Stars.I was actually referred to them by my Health Care Provider OPTIMA early this morning and have wasted my entire day trying to get treatment for broken or Badly Bruised Ribs on my left side. I arrived shortly after 9am and was greeted by a Robotic Receptionist who told me to "Sign In on The I-Pad" after doing so, I asked her to confirm my sign in success and she advised that it had not been taken.entered properly. She told me to do it again and when it wouldn't accept my entry AGAIN, she got herself out of her chair and came over to "help" me. Having trouble herself, she very rapidly hit several keys until it was brought to the acceptance screen. After I ascertained the wait ahead of me being a minimum of 4 hours, I told her that I did not want to wait in the waiting room, but that is the key she pushed and entered on my behalf. I again told her that I would rather leave the facility and be advised by e^mail or telephoned when to return. She changed the info in the computer and then gave me 2 forms to fill out for her on my return. I was first advised that I should plan on returning at 12:30, the that was backed later to 1:30. I arrived at the office at 1:15, checked information on my forms and turned them back in to her.about an hour later she called me up because I hadn't indicated the nature of my injuries. I wrote that I had several BROKEN or BRUISED Ribs and that I needed my left rib cage X-Rayed !. Meanwhile, people that came in after me were being called and seen...I sat and continued waiting in the "waiting" room awaiting my call. As the time kept passing I noticed and noted that it was 3:15 and was told that their hours were until 4pm. Continued waiting...at 3:30 she called me up to take my Co-pay after she had been holding my I.D. and Insurance card at her station for HOURS ! She processed the 30.00 co-payment and gave me my receipts...less than 15 minutes later she came back and said that she had to remove the charge and credit my account used...when I asked why, she said that she was sorry that they didn't have an X -Ray Machine there...I thought to myself ( W.T.F.?) what is up with that shite? She processed my credit and handed me another paper receipt and gave her a small but loud piece of my mind that all could and should have heard about her complete incompetence and the the lack of staffing to do the job that she was having trouble keeping up with and doing...I left felling quite up set that Velocity Urgent care had just cost me the time of my day off and that I would be billing Velocity for my precious time. I expressed my opinion on my way towards the door of how incompetent and unprofessionally that this particular Velocity Urgent Care facility was run and managed. If this wasn't this receptionist first day on the job, she was severely and noticeably untrained or competent for this thankless position and job performance. Other that all that, I guess I've been told that it was still better that a day at the Beach..."Come and Go to Velocity Urgent Care and leave Sick & Tired instead" is my new slogan and motto suggestion for your pitiful attempts at "Doing No Harm"...when you're really just "For Profit hypocrites and managed by "Non Prophets" Looks like you could all use a refresher coarse on acceptable bedside manors... sincerely, Sick and Tired, but just just another manion crying in the wilderness of today's jungle of "hellth care" and I double dog dare you to publish this publically and to provide it to Velocity Urgent Care.
