If I could have Brooke as my nurse every time I would. She is so personable and kind. She remembered us from last time and was cheering my little one on. She is an amazing human and I would recommend her to EVERYONE.

Third day with throat pain, chest pain and decide OTC meds weren’t helping. Called early to make appt and went right in, less than 5 minute wait time. The staff was AWESOME. I wish all the doctors offices were this AWESOME. Later in the day I needed to get in touch with them to ask a question and they must have had the ringer on silent and forgot to change it back, I was calling for 20 minutes before I got through. Guess I should have drove back over, I did forget to tell them that, probably because the staff were so awesome. This was only my second time here since we moved to the area less than a year ago. I would HIGHLY recommend this office.

My daughter woke up with a rash yesterday morning. I booked her an appointment. We did not have to wait long before being taken to a room. The nurse was incredibly friendly and even gave me some tips for getting meds down a kid who has a hard time taking medicines. The doctor diagnosed her with contact dermatitis. She sent meds to the pharmacy. When I picked the medicine up the bottle stated to take 1 pill 4 times every day with food. This was odd to me because the last time my daughter had this medication she was given a large dose which was gradually weaned down. Also, there were 21 pills in the bottle, seemed odd that the bottle didn't specify to take only one pill on the 6th day, since that would have been all that was left. I called my daughters pcp, who I trust, and she advised she would not have ordered that medication to be dosed in the manner the urgent care doctor had prescribed. After sending our pcp pictures and the papers from Access, as they had issues getting her record from access, the pcp then called in a different medication and advised to not give my daughter any of the original prescription. I would have normally just went to the pcp, but they had no availability that day. I'm unsure if giving her the medication as prescribed would have caused any issues for my daughter, but I'm glad I had realized something didn't seem right. If it had been her father taking her, he would have never thought anything of it and just given them to our child. For this reason I am unsure about returning to Access Medical Urgent Care.

The staff is incredibly sweet and thoughtful, but severely overworked and understaffed. We waited 45 minutes for an appointment we scheduled ahead of time.
