If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 immediately. Beaumont Troy, Troy is an emergency room, commonly called an E.R., providing critical and life saving healthcare services to patients throughout theTroy area through their location at44201 Dequindre Rd. They are required by law to be open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, even on national holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas.
While their availability can be enticing, you should really only visit an E.R. if you absolutely have to as they can be quite expensive and have much longer wait times than an walk-in urgent care center. In fact, some insurance carriers have begun to refuse paying for emergency room visits that were in fact non-emergent. An interesting fact that about 50% of emergency room diagnosis could be addressed at a quicker, less expensive urgent care center.

Not very happy with the treatment of my father. He had a stroke in April, and communication was poor to say the least. They told us not to call so much & no one would answer straight questions on his health. Due to the stroke we could not hear him on the phone well. Sorry, due to covid no one could visit my Dad and we had no idea what was going on with his care! He was dismissed to a rehab facility too soon, which THEY informed us he had a bed sore! We found out through a family friend, the bed sore was NEVER reported, so no treatment was done to remedy or help with this horrible predicament, which led to excruciating pain and suffering and setbacks in rehab due to the burning bed sore. Now that my father has passed, it was actually listed as one of the causes of death on his certificate. Your staff needs to watch for this and move people into different positions if they have a stroke and are unable to move! I thought Beaumont was the best of the best, now I think the worst of the worst! If anyone has a family member there you better pray for them because the lack of care and compassion is awful. A very hopeless and helpless feeling that leads to DEATH.

They don't care about their patients, they only care about treating you like a number. I sat in a hall way for hours before and no one came to even ask if I was okay. If you say you are in pain they tell you they will give you something and then never do it. Then they treat you like a criminal if you ask for it. This place is getting worse by worse. I am leaving here feeling worse than when I got here.

I went to Urgent care for shoulder pain. I was x-rayed and told they found nothing. A week later I went back again because it got worse and was told again there was no reason to see the Dr. I've since found a new Dr. that has identified the damage and pain.
