Just tried to schedule a same day PCR test as advertised on the web-site. Cannot schedule on the website....says walk-ins are welcome. But not at West Bloomfield Urgent Care. Any extremenly rude receptionist lectured the several people in front of me asking for the same PCR test. Said that they did not follow the website since they wanted to take care of "really sick" people and we all just needed the PCR test for travel. Would schedule appointments but much later in the day with no promise of same day results. Said they were just too busy and had cut the appointments way back at this location due to staff shortages....who were also sick (not very encouraging). If you cannot provide the services, change your website to reflect your capabilities. Lying to customers is never a great business strategy. Oh. And re-train your personnel to deliver at least mediocre customer service if possible.

I just went to this urgent care today for rapid heartbeat. The nurse took me in the room and asked general questions and went to get the doctor. I waited for about 35-40 mins and at the end, went out to say that I was leaving. The doctor came right in after that and asked for an EKG. The EKG report said abnormal with atrial (something) with AV block. The doctor came to me and said I immediately need to go to ER. I was shocked and shaken and could not just believe it. I went to the ER. The doctor sees the EKG and says there is nothing wrong. I had normal sinus rhythm with a bit faster heartbeat which is normal. Someone there said the urgent care probably didn’t read the EKG and went by machine’s default comment. I have no idea how they came with that EKG report. Since I was at the ER, they decided to verify the EKG and redid the EKG and everything was normal and some blood work to be on the safe side. And I come back home traumatized with the entire experience but so happy to be just fine. I can’t believe this urgent care sent me to ER for abnormal EKG with AV block when I have nothing as such and everything is normal. Are there real medical practitioners there? And now I gotta pay the ER costs and fees? Avoid this place at any cost. This a scam. I am speechless with what just happened to me.

The PA I saw was very rude and unprofessional. No health care provider has ever spoken to me the way she did. Horrible bedside manner, lectured me as if I was stupid. I left feeling very upset and I definitely won't be returning. Remember humility is a virtue, treat your patient's with kindness, respect, understanding, and courtesy.
