Short wait for COVID testing. Whole visit was about 20 minutes and the PA was extremely nice and listened to all my concerns

I’ve been here a few times with my children and once for myself the staff is very kind and friendly. The doctor MS Stacy is kind and awesome . and she’s easy to talk too. I love it here

This has nothing to do with the medical professionals or the facility; it has everything to do with the staff. I went in to get some tests done and was told to call in a few days. I have called 9 times and have either been ignored, had the phone picked up and left unanswered or answered and hung up. Completely unprofessional and ridiculous.

As soon as I walked in on Monday and handed over my license, the front desk woman, Emily, asked me why I'd move to MI from AZ. No smile, abrasive tone and direct. Her other staff member stepped in to lighten the tone and laugh it off. She was quite nice. Doctor was really nice and warm. I am allergic to quite a few antibiotics. Although, this was the first time I have been asked to give recommendations on "what I can take". Seemed odd, but maybe I should know? I think after this experience it would be helpful. Over 24 hours on the antibiotic, strep is still horrible. Feeling anxious, I called yesterday. Was told I need to give it more time. Makes sense. Woke up this morning feeling the worst I have felt since having strep. Called and spoke with Emily again. Her tone conveyed she was clearly annoyed that I would call again. After expressing how sore my throat is, feels like I have a double ear infection, and I don't think the antibiotic is working, suddenly, she said "we can't prescribe you hard drugs". What??? Is an antibiotic a hard drug??? Redirecting the conversation, I asked if she could leave a message for the doctor. She then provided her "doctor" opinion and said they have no options on what to prescribe me. I'd need to tell them. I asked if they could contact CVS who has a 30 or so year history on me. A professional could support in a recommendation- I have no idea myself. This confused her. After we hung up, I called CVS, verified this could be done, called back. Now she was SUPER annoyed and let me know that she "now has to attach this second message to the first message because the first message hasn't been sent to the doctor". What? I'm sorry for your inconvenience, Emily? Just over here feeling like my throat is closing... She told me to wait an hour for a new prescription. I waited two hours. Called back again. (It's not like I am looking forward to calling and speaking with someone who has zero empathy). She clearly gossiped about me to her colleague who answered the phone instead. She too was rude, gave me her doctor opinion, and told me to wait 5 days on the antibiotic and then made a high pitch snicker before hanging up. This was a little shocking. Definitely don't recommend and will not be back. This is the worst I have ever been treated by a doctor's office. I am shocked this behavior is tolerated. Maybe it is not tolerated and hopefully this review helps create awareness. Customer Service requires some patience, and I get it, dealing with sick people all day is probably pretty intolerable at times. Regardless, you need to maintain your composure and professionalism.
