Solv and The Women’s Choice Award Recognize Quality Urgent Care Providers

Solv and the Women’s Choice Award today announced the winners of their co-produced awards program that has recognized the top 2% of all urgent care providers throughout the country for providing the highest-quality, patient-focused care to women.

“In today’s rapidly growing world of consumer-focused healthcare options, it’s more important than ever for women have visibility into the best urgent care centers,” says Delia Passi, CEO and Founder of the Women’s Choice Award. “Our partnership with Solv allows women to choose an urgent care option with confidence and know that other women across America would highly recommend it to their family and friends.”

We know consumers value third-party quality indicators as guides when making purchasing decisions. For instance, online ratings and reviews are used by 90% of consumers before visiting a business, and 88% value those ratings as much as a personal recommendation from a friend or family member. Awards and recognitions such as the WCA further support those consumer decisions, evaluating clinics using meaningful, structured criteria consumers can trust.

Using Solv's comprehensive database of urgent care and walk-in clinics, we helped sharpen the focus of the award parameters and provide the WCA a platform for their inaugural award in the industry. They then reached out to more than 1,000 urgent care centers, and awarded the Women’s Choice Award quality seal to 328 urgent care centers, including 38 pediatric urgent care centers. Qualifications for the award are defined in detail below.

“At Solv we’re focused on giving consumers technology that helps them connect with great doctors who provide both convenient and quality healthcare,” said Stephen Rossi, Head of Marketing and Partnerships at Solv. “We know that 80% of healthcare decisions are made by women, and our partnership with The Women’s Choice Award is a big step forward in helping these women find and schedule the best urgent care possible.”

Beginning today, consumers searching Solv Health for urgent care can discover the award-winning clinics and book visits online with those using Solv for online scheduling. The Women’s Choice Award seal has been added to the business pages for all of winning urgent care location on Solv for patients to view as they schedule appointments.
