Elite Urgent Care - 1524 McHenry Ave
I came in feeling really dizzy and naseaus. The doctor is always so helpful. The wait was a little longer than usual but there were a lot of sick people there so it's understandable. It's still the only urgent care I'll go to.

About Hepatitis test

Who should get tested for hepatitis?

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends that all adults aged 18 and older get tested for hepatitis C at least once in their lifetime. Additionally, those who have ever injected drugs and shared needles, syringes, or other drug preparation equipment, regardless of how long ago or how many times, should be tested. Other groups at high risk include those with HIV, those who have been on long-term hemodialysis, and those who have been incarcerated.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for hepatitis is crucial as it can lead to serious health problems if left untreated, including liver damage, cirrhosis, and even liver cancer. According to the CDC, many people with hepatitis do not have symptoms and do not know they are infected. Early detection can help prevent these health issues and stop the spread of the disease.
