****PLEASE READ**** Came in on a Sunday around 4p with very dull ache in upper abdomen, no appetite, pounding heartbeat and very elevated blood pressure. I was tested for Flu, urinary tract infection and Diabetes. Sent home with a Dr’s note to return to work on Thursday and 3 RX’s that I didn’t need. With all that said I was sent to the hospital the following Tuesday by a primary Dr. who said it’s likely to be my appendix. Once arriving to hospital was rushed into surgery for appendicitis. It had ruptured and infection was leaking and was on the verge of Sepsis. After getting back home I called Carenow main office and asked if Carenow clinics have the knowledge and resources to diagnose Appendicitis. Her answer was yes. Such a common diagnosis missed by this Dr and his staff. Office manager was contacted to refund $100 copay which her reply was “Absolutely not! Patient was treated and there will be no refund!”
