This was my first visit to this facility and I was extremely pleased with the attention I received from start to finish with check-in, nurse, and doctor. My doctor was out of town and I needed immediate care for my symptoms. I could not have received better care at this facility. Will not be hesitant to visit again should the need arise.

THEY HAVE THE BEST DOCTORS AND NURSES THAT I SEEN... VERY PROFESSIONALS, BUT, FRONT DESK WILL DRIVE YOU CRAZY ALMOST EVERY WEEK THEY KEEP CHANGING MY VISIT SCHEADULE (PAT) FRONT DESK THINKS SHE IS RUNNING THE WHOLE PLACE AND VERY UNPROFFESSIONAL!!! . SINCE I STARTED GOING THERE, I TOLD THEM I AM AVAILABLE ONLY 2 DAYS AND A SPECIFIC TIME.... THEY AGREED THAT WILL WORK FOR THEM TOO BEFORE I STARTED!!! SOMETIMES WHEN I GO THERE.... THEY TELL ME THATI CHANGED MY APPOINTMENT!!! IT IS A JOLK!!! I SPENT $11,000 FOR 1 MONTH VISITS THERE....AND I STILL GET TREAT LIKE THIS. I ASKED TO SPEAK WITH THE DOCTOR AND I WAS INFORMED THE DOCTOR WILL NOT CALL ME BACK. THEY TOLD ME IF I WANT TO MAKE A COMPLAIN, FOR ME TO CALL PATIENT RELATIONS TO MAKE A COMPLAIN.

I’m not usually one to complain, but Northwestern Medicine is exemplary of all that is wrong with our failed healthcare system in the US. I went to the urgent care for a 1 hour procedure, which was billed to me at $1,750. The medical code billed, CPT 93971 is reimbursed by Medicare at $128. My healthcare system in Detroit would charge $120 for the same procedure. Northwestern Medicine takes advantage of a system where insurance companies are contracted, oftentimes, to pay these outrageous claims. The insurance company turns around and bills us, the customer, in the form of outrageous premiums. And there you have the disaster that is our healthcare system. My high deductible insurance means I’m stuck with this outrageous bill. They have sent me to collections. Northwestern Medicine is a scheister of a company that exists to take advantage of the horrible incentive structure we have in healthcare. I would advise anyone to select another healthcare provider if you can.

This place is awful as far as the doctor I saw, when someone ill goes into an immediate care, sick, fever, pains, he (Dr. Patel) asked me what I thought??? I told him all I know is last time I felt this awful I had strep. So he ordered a strep test, guess what?? It was negative!!! So he comes back in and asked my if I wanted a flu test? I replied, I want a diagnosis from you, that's why I am here. So, I denied flu swab as he did not seem to know what was wrong with me, asked if I wanted a print out from today??? If not I was good to go, I said yes I want a print out, he replied very rudely, ok, it will be a bit and left the room, all this took over 2.5 hours, unreal!!!!! They do not care at all, pretty sad.
