If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 immediately. Briargate Outpatient and Specialty Care is an emergency room, commonly called an E.R., providing critical and life saving healthcare services to patients throughout theColorado Springs area through their location at4125 Briargate Pkwy. They are required by law to be open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, even on national holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas.
While their availability can be enticing, you should really only visit an E.R. if you absolutely have to as they can be quite expensive and have much longer wait times than an walk-in urgent care center. In fact, some insurance carriers have begun to refuse paying for emergency room visits that were in fact non-emergent. An interesting fact that about 50% of emergency room diagnosis could be addressed at a quicker, less expensive urgent care center.

My 4 year old nephew came in because he had a seizure. He has CP and eplipsy. My mother has custody to help give him the speciality care he needs. She has also been my son's CNA for over 10 years. My nephew is not a fat child, because of his disabilities. My mother works tirelessly to feed him every two hours. The doctor here told my mom she is starving my nephew to death. They have threatened her to have DHS investigate if she leaves. Anyone whom knows my nephew raves at what a great job my mother does. This is on top of the hospital not scanning my ID as required each time I have visited. They have been giving my nephew his medicine late and did not puree his food 5 times as he needs, despite numerous requests. Take your children to a hospital that won't be unprofessional and make unfounded accusations, while making bigger mistakes themselves. The last time I was here when my son broke his leg, they put a cast on and told him to be fucking quiet because it didn't hurt that bad. Got a second opinion and my son needed surgery, which we saw a different provider for who does not cuss at children. The bible says to take the plank out of your eye before taking it out from your brother. This hospital has a 2x4, and is abusing my mother over a splinter.
