I went to the Urgent Care outside of Cone Health on October 29th to get a single test done, a single test, yet this place and the people working here ran a total of six tests. Which I did not ask for, I asked for one test, and then got charged for 6 different tests. This action is fraud and I have filed a fraud claim against this facility with my insurance company. This is unacceptable. When a patient knows what kind of test they need, the should be provided that and only that. I explicitly stated to the doctors and the receptionists that I only needed a single test done to confirm the results of the same test done at another facility in Greensboro. Absolute disgrace to have this happen without my given consent and for this facility to decide to do whatever they wanted without telling me about their intentions.
