I visited this urgent care on Jan 17, 2023 due to a very red, enflamed throat, hard to swallow and long term cough. Got off to a great start with the front office staff. They were very professional and I was told I would be tested for covid, flu, strep then wait in my car due to my symptoms. I very much appreciated that would not want to share with others. My issues were with the PA that saw me Gregory Shannon. I felt like I was blown off after I tested negative for all three things and my oxygen level was good. He seemed rushed and did not even do a good exam just listened to my lungs and a very quick look at my throat. I had to ask him to listen to my heart and check my ears which were plugged. He prescribed a nightime cough med for allergies (hasn't helped) and gave me a Z pack. He told me its probably a virus although I have had this cough since October. I will be following up with my ENT at the end of the month. I could not get an appt sooner which is why I went to Urgent care. Maybe if I had tested postive on one of the tested things they would have been helpful but they sure werent going to put any effort into anything else or give me a complete exam. I don't go to Urgent care unless I have to. I felt I needed to go as I had been unwell for so long. The only good thing is I know what I don't have. I wont be back!
