EZMED Urgent Care Timonium

I went to their office for a covid test for international travel on 12/18/2021 which is supposed to be free with my insurance, only to be billed $241.00 through mail. I called their office for an explanation since it was the first time I have been billed for a covid test out of the 6 times I have been tested this year (My insurance has covered 100% of all the other 5). but none was forthcoming. I was told to email their billing department which they didn't have a phone number for. I remember being irritated for being asked to teleconference with a doctor twice for the non-symptomatic covid test, a nurse took my vitals and another one did the nose swab. I figured it was just their way of trying to milk the insurance company, which was probably why their billing charges were rejected by my insurance.

I have been here several times and it has always been ok. In and outish. Went in today at 8:02, was 2nd in lobby. Sit down. TV has Crepe Erase infomercial on. My friend and I listen to Jane and her friends discuss the product. I am 62 and getting crepey....no need to listen to that and I've heard it a thousand times. I do wonder if it works, though. Asked front desk person if we could change it or turn it off. Nope, set to that station and set to on. We tried to find the volume. Anyway....not a big deal really. Went back, nice person took vitals. I go in room and wait. I wait for about 45 minutes. While I am in this exam room for so long, I notice that the trash is full. Had never been emptied from day before. That is kind of gross in medical situation. I went over to get some antiseptic and it was totally empty. The light switch next to the dispenser was all covered in old antiseptic and dusty. The rest of the room was fine. Anyway, I think I could hear the doctor talking to his first patient, who also must have waited at least 30 minutes, I could hear them talking about itching. I hope no one can hear me talking to my doctor in my exam room. Once the conversation stopped, I waited about another 8-10 and then just left. Made an appointment with my regular place. I usually don't complain but my eye really hurts and I waited way too long in a room with old trash. 50 minutes is just too much.
