I went in with a piece of glass in my foot that I could not retrieve. After insisting on doing x-rays, which I’m pretty sure are useless when we’re talking about a piece of glass, I was told by the medical professional there that there was nothing in the wound. He merely looked at it with a light and never touched my foot to feel for anything, simply to put a dab of bacitracin on it and covered it with a Band-Aid.When he turned around to dispose of his gloves, the trashcan was amazingly full. Hardly the kind of cleanliness I would expect in a hospital like environment. I only went there because I was going away for the weekend and I did not want any issues to come up. When I arrived at my destination, I couldn’t step on my heel. My friends retrieved a piece of glass out of my heel which was causing the pain I had been experiencing. My friends, who are attorneys and not medical professionals, found the piece of glass I kept telling Fast urgent care that I was feeling in my heel. I cannot wait to see the kind of bill I’m going to get for this substandard care. I will not be going back there.
