Physicians United Urgent Care - 253 Robert C Daniel Jr Pkwy
I have been sick with a cold all last week and I decided to go to Urgent care for a check up. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. The doctor did a great job. I was in and out of the office in time to get medications before the pharmacy closed. I will be going back again if I get sick.

That last review was definitely not from EUC. Dr. Wallentine in the 15 years I have known him has never ever ever said "have you never had a cold before." I am 100% sure that this person was reviewing a different physician. Read the Google reviews. This website is a joke.

Friendly Staff

I’ve been a patient of Dr Brown and his staff for about 3 years and My monthly visits have been GREAT! I’ve had my problem for 19 years and I had to find a doctor here that could continue my treatment because my previous Doctor is in Texas and I moved home so I had to find someone local. And the reason why I mention that is because for 19 years I’ve been treated by doctors when I lived in Alabama and Texas and they just couldn’t seem to get me where I needed to be and I remember my first visit to Dr. Brown, I was explaining to him about my condition because they didn’t have my medical records yet from Texas, and he looked at me and said, if you can’t laugh about your condition then your condition wins. And every month I go in there for medication refills and It’s always that TOPNOTCH LEVEL OF CARE!!!! For almost 20 years of being treated for this crazy condition that I have, Dr. Brown and his staff and his nurse practitioner Are the only ones who really truly listend to me, and finally I’m able to live my life the way I wanna live it! And I totally owe that to Dr. Brown and the entire staff!!!! I wished 19 years ago that Dr. Brown was my doctor because I truly believe the last 19 years of my life would’ve been a lot better! My hats off to Dr. Brown and his staff, they’re the best medical team I’ve ever been a patient of and I will never choose any other doctor but Dr. Brown and his staff! I am finally me! Thank you Dr Brown and everyone at Martinez Urgent Care for treating me like a member of a family and not just a chart, and listening to me when I tell them what’s wrong, they never rush me and Dr. Brown and his nurse practitioner always make time to listen no matter how busy they are! If you’re looking for a doctor with a staff that goes above and beyond then Martinez urgent care is the place you should go!! It’s because of Dr Brown, APRN Miller, the nurses and staff that after being treated for this for 19 years I’m finally able to live my life instead of just existing. So from Alabama to Texas, Martinez Urgent Care beats them all! Thank you Dr Brown and the ENTIRE staff for you’re awesome, top notch care!!!!

The nurse was awesome. I forgot her name but I won't forget her care/vlondush brown long hair, light skin, energetic, happy, caring and and polite and didn't hurt with the Covid swab nor with her the shots she gave. The girl who checked me in was nice and efficient and the girl who checked me out and gave me my work excuse was very nice and chatty though it was about time for them to close and was also efficient. And last but not least was Jason the Dr/nurse practioner was spot on with his diagnosis and meds and was great, polite and professional. Thanks everyone!!!

STD Testing FAQs

  • Where should I get an STD test in Dearing?

In a doctor's office, a health clinic, or an urgent care center, you can get an STD test. If you're experiencing symptoms, it's best to visit a doctor's office, where they can also treat you or issue you a prescription. While some Dearing clinics and urgent care centers allow walk-in appointments, it's advisable to make an appointment ahead of time to prevent excessive waits.

  • How long does it take to get STD test results?

Various testing are required for various STDs. Depending on the type of STD test you took, you may receive your results in two to ten days. Some outcomes may be immediately available. Your doctor may be able to diagnose an STD through a physical examination. In some cases, your doctor's office may only contact you if your test results are positive.

  • How much does an STD test cost in Dearing?

The cost of STD testing is governed by several factors, including where you are tested, the type of test you need, and if you have health insurance. Some Dearing clinics may offer free testing or testing on a sliding scale based on your income. Because of the cost, don't put off obtaining an STD test. With your doctor's office, discuss the cost and payment choices. Delaying STD treatment may have catastrophic implications.

  • Does insurance cover STD testing in Dearing?

The cost of STD testing is governed by a number of factors, including the location of the test, the type of test required, and whether or not you have health insurance. Some clinics may provide free or sliding-scale testing, depending on your income. Don't let the expense of an STD test deter you from getting one. With your doctor's office, discuss the price and payment choices. Delaying STD treatment could have catastrophic ramifications.

  • How do they test for STDs in Dearing?

There are around 20 different forms of STDs, each with its own set of diagnostic tests. No single test exists that can detect all types of STDs. Your doctor can help you figure out which tests you'll need. In STD testing, a blood sample or a urine sample may be used. Your doctor may also take a swab from the inside of your cheek, your vaginal area, or another potentially infected place.

  • What STDs can be detected by a blood test?

Blood tests are used to diagnose hepatitis B, hepatitis C, herpes, HIV, and syphilis. In a laboratory, a technician examines a blood sample for antibodies that the body has produced in reaction to disease. The virus's DNA can also be detected by several blood tests. Remember that if you've recently been exposed to an STD and your body hasn't yet produced antibodies, you could test negative even if you have the disease.

  • Can I get a same-day appointment for STD testing in Dearing?

Many Dearing, GA urgent care providers offer same-day and next-day appointments, which you may book through Solv. To make healthcare more accessible to everyone, we collaborate with thousands of top-rated local providers. Our physician partners understand that waiting days, if not weeks, for an appointment isn't always the best option, and they share our commitment to simple, accessible health care.

  • How can I book an STD test on Solv?

To find a healthcare practitioner in your area, simply enter your location and search for "STD test" on our website. • How long does an STD test take in Dearing?

If you have a specific STD, inform your doctor so that the necessary test can be scheduled. Otherwise, they'll help you figure out which tests you'll need. The nurse or doctor simply needs a few minutes to get a blood sample, a urine sample, or a swab from the probable infection site.

  • Can I test myself for STDs at home?

Although there are several STD home tests available, not all of them are accurate. The accuracy of any STD test is determined by the quality of the sample taken. For home STD kits, a blood sample, a urine sample, or both are frequently required. Because doctors and nurses have more experience collecting samples, traditional in-office STD testing is the most accurate.
