Serving as a primary care provider in the Lenoir area, Happy Valley Medical Center sees mostly an appointment-driven patient population, however, they may support walk-in patients during certain hours. It appears as though their practice is routinely open 5 days a week at their clinic located at 1345 NC-268 with today's hours being 8:00AM to 6:00PM. It is certainly best to call the clinic to schedule an appointment, or ask about walk-in availability.

Happy Valley Medical Center has went downhill so bad in the last year. I had great experiences with Sonya Suttle and Helen Vickers. I saw them both regularly and never had any kinds of issues. When Helen left, she made an appointment for a month later. When I came to that appointment, I had no clue that I was not seeing Helen until Dr Thompson came into the room. Dr Thompson is the most condescending doctor that I have ever met. He talked down to me the entire time I was there and refused to fill my prescription that I have been on for years. You could tell that he never even looked at my chart prior to the visit. He even asked at one point if he needed to listen to my heart. My response was, "no offense, but I am not a doctor. You're supposed to tell me if that is necessary". I had an appointment with a new practitioner, but they had to call and reschedule for a month out. I called CEO Tom McCrary, but never received a call back. That proves to me that they really dont care how their patients are treated as long as they keep coming in. I used to have a great relationship with everyone I encountered in this office, but i guess the bottom dollar is more important. I really need to go to the doctor, but this is ridiculous. I cant keep jumping through hoops just to see a doctor and fill my medications. Hopefully I can find a new doctor soon.
