What is Solv?
Solv helps you book same-day doctor appointments, even if it’s outside of business hours or in a new, unfamiliar city.
Solv eliminates the hassle of going to urgent care by helping you skip waiting rooms, verifying insurance coverage,
and allowing you to view prices for common health issues. We believe that everyday healthcare should be simple, costs
should be transparent, and that patients deserve a great experience from start to finish.

Where is Solv available?
We’re currently helping patients in the Dallas/Fort Worth area with plans to expand quickly. If you’d like to request
Solv in your area, you can add your name to our list.

What types of medical issues can Solv help with?
Solv can help you find an appointment for health issues that don’t require a visit to the ER, but can’t wait until
tomorrow. Common illnesses (sore throats, coughs, and ear pain), non-serious urgent conditions (fever, diarrhea, and
vomiting), and other non-emergent issues that require medical attention (burns & cuts, sprains & strains, and broken
bones) can be treated at the majority of our clinics. We do not currently offer appointments at mental health, primary
care, or dental facilities. Please refer to when to call 911
if you think you might have a medical emergency.

What can I expect when I arrive at the clinic?
Most patients are in and out within an hour of arriving to their Solv appointment. We recommend arriving 10-15 minutes
early to ensure enough time for check-in, including filling out any paperwork and submitting your insurance. As soon
as the medical staff is ready to see you, the front desk will call you back to an exam room. Although our clinics do
their best to see patients when they are scheduled, medical emergencies and visits that require more time than
anticipated may cause delays.

How much will my visit cost?
Urgent care visit costs are often similar to the cost of going to your doctor’s office. The price you pay for your
visit will depend on the type of insurance you have, if you’ve met your deductible, and the cost of your copay. Copays
often range from $20 – $75. Higher deductible plans may require you to pay for additional services until you reach
your deductible. If you’re planning to pay out of pocket, Solv provides estimates on expected costs so there are no
financial surprises.

Is there a fee for using Solv?
No, it is free for you to use Solv to book an appointment. Patients are responsible for the charges associated with
the services they receive during their visit.

What kind of medical providers will I see?
All of our clinics have overseeing physicians who are often trained and board certified in emergency medicine.
Depending on the nature of the visit, you may be seen by experienced nurse practitioners, physician or medical
assistants, or board-certified doctors. At pediatric specialty clinics, all medical staff are specifically trained
and practiced in providing care to kids.

Can I request to be seen by a certain doctor at the clinic?
Unfortunately, you cannot request to see a specific doctor or medical provider at this time. Back to top
Can Solv give me medical advice?
Solv does not provide medical care or advice. We match you to the best medical provider who can treat your issue. If
you’re unsure about making an appointment, we recommend reading through our Resources section to
learn about conditions best treated in an urgent care setting.

I booked an appointment. How do I view the details?
You should refer to your Solv Pass, which is in the confirmation email we sent to you when you booked an appointment.
This includes date and time of the appointment and the address of the clinic. You can also get driving directions or
add the appointment to your calendar from the email.

How do I cancel or reschedule my appointment?
When you schedule a doctor's visit with Solv, you'll receive a confirmation email and a text message with visit
details. The confirmation email will have links to "Cancel your visit" or "Reschedule your visit." Alternatively,
you can click the visit details link in your confirmation text message and then you can click the "Change/Cancel"
button on the subsequent page that loads.

What is my Solv Code?
Found in the confirmation email, your Solv Code allows the clinic to quickly and securely find your appointment in
their system. You don’t need to do anything with the Solv Code unless the clinic asks you for it.
