A great experience for something I had a lot of anxiety about. Had no wait time or issues at the testing center/lab. Had blood drawn at 3pm and had results by email at 9am the next morning.

Due to a in home accident l was there today around noon. Kara Saling, nurse practitioner needs to be on "kids stitch list!" That beautiful caring lady said it may pinch.. l felt barely a prick and absolutely nothing until she finished putting stitches in my browline. Her kind, patient skills and amazing technique is one KIDS would love but we all are privileged to receive her expertise. I have been to this location several times. Always treated with great service and respect.

Getting Tested for STDs in Jeffersonville, IN

Who should get tested for STDs?

Anyone who is sexually active should consider regular STD testing as part of their routine healthcare. This is particularly crucial for those with multiple sexual partners, individuals who engage in unprotected sex, or those who have a partner who tests positive for an STD. It's important to note that many STDs can be asymptomatic, meaning you may not show any signs or symptoms, yet can still transmit the disease to others. Therefore, regular testing is key to maintaining both your own health and the health of your partner(s).

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for STDs is a vital part of maintaining your overall health. Early detection of STDs can prevent serious health complications such as infertility, certain types of cancer, and increased susceptibility to HIV. Additionally, knowing your STD status can help prevent the spread of these diseases to your sexual partners. According to the CDC, regular STD testing is one of the most effective ways to curb the spread of these diseases.
