Friendly Staff

Mary Bridge Children's Urgent Care, Gig Harbor (KIDS ONLY) - 4700 Point Fosdick Dr
Mary Bridge Children's Urgent Care is my favorite urgent care to go to. Convenient online scheduling, easy check-in process, fast wait times, concerns are addressed appropriately, friendly staff, and you're out in about an hour from start to finish. The only area that could be improved is if you have questions after your appointment, it's hard to get a hold of anyone, and then you don't get a call back. I highly recommend Mary Bridge Children's Urgent Care

MultiCare Indigo Urgent Care, Puyallup - 15125 Meridian Ave E, Puyallup
There is nothing nice about going to Urgent Care and I felt miserable. From check in to everyone I worked with, I was treated with compassion and respect. I felt very heard and my appointment was timely and included procedures that addressed my symptoms and gave me assurance. I was so thankful for the warm response and medical support that moved me out of miserable faster than I could have expected. I booked my appointment on line the night before and am so glad I went in. I definitely recommend this office and these providers!

About Gonorrhea Testing

Who should get tested for gonorrhea?

Gonorrhea is a sexually transmitted infection that can affect both men and women. According to the CDC, those who should consider getting tested for gonorrhea include sexually active women under the age of 25, men who have sex with men, and anyone who has a new or multiple sex partners, or a sex partner who has a sexually transmitted infection. It's also recommended for anyone who has been forced to engage in any sexual activity.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for gonorrhea is crucial because, if left untreated, it can lead to serious health complications such as pelvic inflammatory disease in women, which can cause infertility, and in men, it can cause a painful condition in the tubes attached to the testicles, which can also lead to infertility. Moreover, gonorrhea can increase your risk of getting or giving HIV. Regular testing allows for early detection and treatment, preventing these complications and the spread of the infection to others.
