The staff is so friendly and empathetic. Nurse Practitioners, and Nurses are thorough and very practical. I'm very impressed, and while we have insurance, when my family needs a quick option, I am very grateful for this clinic.

DON'T GO TO CONVENIENT MD. From the moment I stepped into the building it was a terrible experience. The front desk staff were rude as they checked me in. They made comments about closing the door so nobody else could get in and “didn’t even care." I was shown into a room and a nurse and medical assistant had me come into a room and I explained I needed to have my ear flushed out as I have had it done many times in my life. The nurse proceeded to leave the room and they filled the bottle up to flush my ear. The bottle was broken so water was being poured all over me. The girl used cold water in my ear which should NEVER happen. You are supposed to use luke warm water because if you don’t it messes with the equilibrium of your ear, and can cause nausea, dizziness, vomiting etc. (which it did.) Also, a forceful flow of water can damage the ear. The girl used two full bottles of water to try to flush my ear, and then the nurse had to come back in. She said the girl was unsuccessful in removing all the wax and tried again with another bottle but was unsuccessful. She then decided to stop. I asked if the girl was unsuccessful in removing the wax because she used cold water and not luke warm which is what is supposed to be used and I was told “Everyone does it differently.” NO. That is not accurate. Look up on google and any reputable medical website says luke warm water. I have NEVER had anyone flush my ear out with anything but lukewarm/slightly warmed water and I have been to the doctors regarding this since I was a child. I then asked how long would be expected for my ear to feel better because usually after having my ear flushed it feels better right away BECAUSE THE ISSUE IS DEALT WITH! I knew something wasn’t right. It was feeling more irritated, muffled, and hurting more than when I arrived. I was told a few hours. Well, guess what? It’s over 3 months later and I STILL cannot hear out of that ear! A few days later I was in such agony I went to my PCP. They told me my eardrum looked really irritated, angry, and “sunken.” She said she needed to refer me to an ENT because it didn’t look normal and she wasn’t able to help me. The ENT told me that Convenient MD messed up my ear so bad I would need to have surgery to repair the damage. They said that I had profound hearing loss in my ear which I didn’t have before. The kicker to all of this? I spoke with the practice manager of this location regarding my bill as I explained that my ear is far worse than when I came in, that there may be profound hearing loss forever and may need hearing aids at 33 years old because of the damage I was told that my bill of $300 is justified because they rendered a service. Well, they failed to remove the wax from my ear, and they caused severe damage to my ear that already is costing me thousands of dollars, and I am expecting to incur over $5k more in bills due to stepping foot in their “medical facility.” It does not seem to me that they provided me a service. In fact, I would say that they provided an extreme disservice all the way around. We ended up losing money because my husband had to come home from work twice so I could go to other doctors to try to fix what Convenient MD did. I was told by the practice manager they could only remove the charge if no service was rendered—which it wasn’t. I was also told that they only provide services within their scope. I would say that it is not within their scope if they cannot provide a service properly. And she echoed that the cold water was acceptable to use for flushing and everyone does it differently. Everyone does a medical procedure differently?! No. I still had ear wax in my ear, and now I have hearing loss, vertigo, tinnitus…and did I mention I can’t hear anything??? DON’T GO HERE IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOURSELF AND YOUR HEALTH! DO NOT DO IT! As a medical professional myself I am telling you don’t do it. These people do not care about your health, or you.

I really didn't want to give any good stars to them. This is a good place if you have money and good insurance, but they apparently can't figure their stuff with Covid. I call one day and I'm paying $150 for a Telehealth appointment to tell a doctor I have a sore throat. The next day it's free. Their customer service is hit or miss, but so far it's mostly been snotty women who find out you have Medicare and start treating you like crap. I'm not really surprised they're messing this up, since they *did* partner with someone at the beginning of the pandemic who stated "I hope we find positive cases" in regards to random sampling testing. Anyone with critical thinking skills can see the gaping ethical holes in that statement. This place seems to be about serving a certain population: The middle to upper class, like a lot of private urgent care clinics. If you're that then I guess you should be fine 🤷♀️

WARNING: Do not get a Covid-19 test here! I came in for a test due to a possible exposure even though I was asymptomatic and they intentionally added notes to my file that I was coming in for "general testing" because it is $150 price difference. They do not provide an itemized bill at time of treatment, so when I called back a week later after seeing my bill they said it was too late. I had to pay $150 dollars for a Covid-19 test even with insurance!!!!! Stay away! They are after profits, not helping people.
