I have used this urgent care many times in the past and probably have been using them for a few years now when I cannot get in to be seen by my doctor. This particular time everything went smoothly when I was brought in the back. The nurses and doctor were very friendly. The front desk person on the other hand needs a few lessons on customer service and hospitality. I am suffering from a throat infection and can barely talk. The lady was very rude that it was hard for her to hear me. She asked if I had been exposed to COVID which I responded that I don't know. She told me COVID testing is $100, I said no I have medicaid. She said it doesn't cover. I said okay I don't want it I have medicaid. She then proceeded to tell me I need to stop doing what I'm doing. I was simply responding to her. I think as the front face of a business dealing with people as soon as they come in they need to do better. I almost wanted to walk out and go somewhere else but didn't because I am sick and made the drive. I let the nurse know and she was very cold about it as well. This will most likely be my last time at this urgent care.

This place is a joke and deserves negative starts! My daughter broke her finger and I took her to MXM urgent care rather than getting stuck in the er for hours and hours. We walked it the lobby at 4:00 pm. There is a girl sitting behind the desk reading a book. She looks up at me and points to a hand written sign that says lunch 3:30-4:30. Wait, what?! Seriously?! Are you telling me the ENTIRE office takes lunch at the same time? That people that are sick and in pain have to sit there and watch her read a book for an hour?! After lunch was over (at 4:35 I might add) I was asked the reason for the visit. I said, "my daughter possibly has a broken finger and it's sad we had to wait for lunch to be over to be seen." She says, "well, you could have gone to the emergency room." I say, "yeah, i guess I could have. And waited for 6 hours there? That's what places like this are for! So people don't have to wait hours and hours in the er!" Shame on you, MXM Urgent Care! Or, should I say urgent DON'T care! None of you should be in the health care industry!
