This place is misleading. It says on their website that they have instant Covid-19 test swabs that gives your results right there and then. NOT TRUE! The only thing instant about this place is that we almost got beaten up by one of their clients. Not sure what went wrong inside, but when he came out, we were waiting by the door because it was raining and told us to move to the parking lot or wait in our car. We told him we need to be seen by a doctor, but he did not care. When we said that we would not go to our car, he threatened to beat us up. Staff came out, did not do anything other than call the police. Police came out, inquired as to what was going on, then the staff member said she was done with us and kicked everyone out. So, no urgent care for me, $30 copay for a Covid-19, no instant test as the website says, no care for the sick people waiting outside in line in the rain.

DO NOT GO HERE FOR COVID TESTING!!! Got there right as they opened in the morning, waited an hour, got in to the room, then they tell me I need to authorize a $50 copay. This is a facility charge and completely unrelated to insurance. This should have been mentioned first thing when checking in, especially when the majority of testing locations are free. In the middle of a pandemic with so many places doing these tests for free, it is a shame that places like this pull a bait and switch and prey upon people who are scared and vulnerable.

I waited about an hour and a half to be seen. Multiple people who got there after me were seen before me. The MA who helped me was very nice but the PA didn’t give me the treatment I needed. After I left, I kept getting worse and had to go to the ER the very next day. The urgent care called to follow up the day after my ER trip. After I told them what happened, they offered to have me come back in and said they could see me again. I told them I wasn’t sure I’d feel comfortable coming back in after needing to go to the ER, and they hung up on me. No apology. No goodbye. Nothing. I’m going to take the advice of the ER doctor I saw and never go back to this urgent care again.

I cannot imagine a less satisfactory experience than we had Monday evening. My elderly mother encountered a fall and we wanted to make sure she had not broken anything. This organization refused to see her because we did not have her Medicare card!!! If that is an accurate application of med 7's policy they need to be put out of business by our collective reviews! This may not be PC of me, but I wonder if they would have seen an illegal immigrant or homeless person who did not have insurance! Disgusting reaction to a person genuinely in need of medical care! We went to Mercy ER right up the street and were seen immediately without a Medicare and were treated beautifully. I will never even consider going to Med 7 in Folsom again, and I think this experience has soured me on all urgent care facilities.

I went to the urgent care with a sick teammate who had just arrived from China and had a really bad cough, fever and was feeling quite weak. We were the second people to get into the urgent care (at 8am) but we were waiting there for over 2 hours while the receptionist (Sabrina) figured out the insurance. Ultimately she gave up and said that we could pay upfront and claim it later. And the amount was just $127! Had she told us that 2 hours ago we wouldn't have kept an already weak patient sitting there for so long. After that, my teammate got checked (after waiting inside for 45 mins) and got prescribed some medicine. But it turns out none of the pharmacies carry that medicine at all. Why would you prescribe something that none of them carry? I called them back again to ask for another medicine and the medical assistant told me another one which I clarified was an over the counter drug. I walk into the store to buy it but it turns out that it is a prescribed drug. So after speaking to the medical assistant again we were assured that the they would call up the pharmacy and let them know to get the drug ready. After waiting another 15 mins with a patient who could barely stand, we went into the pharmacy only to find out the call had never been made. So we spent 4 hours trying to get medicine for a person new to the country and ultimately didn't succeed. Overall, an extremely incompetent place that doesn't care about the patient at all. Only about the money.
