I went to Memorial Urgent Care, for symptoms of a three day asthma attack. Keep in mind, I’ve had asthma my entire life; so I know what an attack feels like. When I was taken back, I wasn’t even offered a nebulizer treatment, or prednisone. (Which I usually get with every asthma attack I’ve had.) Instead, Caroline I Meighan disregarded everything I told her I was experiencing, and decided to test me for COVID. (Which of course, came back negative.) She said she was going to send me off with an asthma chamber for my inhaler. And guess what? She forgot to hand me the prescription for that (even after I reminded her!) let alone call my pharmacy. So I’m still without my chamber for my inhaler. It’s like she just wanted to do away with me. I didn’t feel like I was a valued patient. I only had ONE symptom of COVID. She totally disregarded everything I said. I felt I honestly wasted my time going in, and I’m just lucky that I pulled through the asthma attack on my own without any treatment. Lucky that I’m alive.
