About MinuteClinic

MinuteClinic Logo

MinuteClinic is a retail clinic inside of CVS Pharmacy in Irving and is open today from 10:00AM to 5:30PM. They are located at 5500 N MacArthur Blvd and open 7 days per week. Of course it's always best to call in advance to confirm hours of operation before walking in.

Retail clinics offer a wide range of services overlapping considerably with those of a traditional walk-in urgent care center. That said, they are usually staffed by a Practitioner (NP) rather than a medical doctor and generally do not have an on-site x-ray or lab services, which will prevent them from seeing patients with more advanced injuries and illnesses.

MinuteClinic has received an average rating of 1.0 stars out of 5 across more than 3 total reviews.

Earlier today I went to CVS after my wife's oral surgery to get some gauze's, I asked one the pharmacist for advice on what to get for this situation and the pharmacist advised that I should get the "No stick" gauze box. Purchased the box and went home and found out that I got the wrong type of gauze that didn't work, so I went back to the store do an exchange. The first guy said go ahead and get something else. I went to the section to pick the right one, I decided to pay more for the right box. Went back to the front and another guy was there and he said that I can't return or exchange the box due to Covid-19. I was like my wife just had oral surgery and I need to exchange it. Then the manager comes up and says you can't do the exchange, it's company policy, but you can bring it back after this whole thing blows over. So you mean to tell me that you can't give me my money back, even though I'm trying to buy the box that cost more than what I've paid earlier and throw the box that I returned away? That's stupidity, if you're not going to take the box right now because of "Company Policy", what makes you think that you're going to take the box after this blows over...like next year??? As a result of this bad experience I will never go to this location or any other location, since you can't give your customer their money back and throw my box away since it's "TAINTED WITH CORNA" and also boycotting CVS since they believe lies that the media has played. WAKE UP PEOPLE AND DO YOUR RESEARCH. This is uncalled for and for that CVS will never get my business again. You just lost me for good.
