Quest Diagnostics - 3302 S National Ave
I came in one day without an appoint and waited two hours as a walk-in before I had to leave without being tested. I made an appointment through Quest Lab Testing for the next day, showed up on time, got tested easily and was on my way in 15-20 minutes. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Drug Test FAQs

  • How much does a drug test cost in Marshfield?

Most drug tests cost between $25 and $100. When conducted at a doctors office in Marshfield you can expect to also add on an office visit charge or co-pay. At-home drug tests are also available and can cost less than $10, but are not as reliable. It really depends on what type of test you need. Check with your employer to see what their requirements are. They may even have a preferred lab or draw station they send you to.

  • Where can I get a drug test in Marshfield?

Drug tests are generally available throughout Marshfield at medical testing labs, urgent care centers, retail clinics, primary care doctor offices, and many local pharmacies. While walk-in appointments are typically available, booking a visit online will reduce your wait time and ensure you have your drug test results sooner. If your employer is requiring a drug test, consult with them first as they may have a designated place for you to get your drug test.

  • How can I book a drug test in Marshfield?

Regardless of the kind of drug test you are seeking, Solv can help you book an appointment. Simply search for labs and healthcare providers in your area, filter by the test you want and find a top-rated drug testing location. Be sure to include “drug testing” as the reason for visit.

  • Where can I get a drug test after hours in Marshfield?

Outside routine work hours, most testing labs and primary care offices in Marshfield are closed, however, most of the area’s urgent care and retail clinics are open later than typical business hours and on weekends. Book an after-hours visit to get prompt, no-hassle care and get your drug test results faster.

  • Can I make a same-day appointment for drug testing in Marshfield?

Same-day and next-day appointments for many drug tests can easily be booked directly through Solv. Simply search for labs and healthcare providers in Marshfield, find a testing lab or draw station, and book the most convenient time for you. Be sure to include “drug testing” as your reason for visit.

  • How do I find the best labs for drug testing in Marshfield?

Solv gathers ratings, reviews, and other data on labs and healthcare providers across the country to ensure the providers meet our high standards. Search for drug testing providers in Marshfield, see what previous patients think, and book an appointment with a top-rated lab or clinic today!

  • Who should get a drug test?

Many employers require pre-employment drug testing prior to being hired. Others may require periodic or random drug testing during your term of employment. Additionally, primary care doctors may order a drug test if they suspect you have a problem with drugs or alcohol, while emergency room doctors may request a drug test if you're confused or your behavior seems strange or dangerous while in the ER.

  • How long do drug tests take?

For most drug tests, you can be in and out of the testing center within 30 min. For results, however, it depends on what type of test you are getting done. Urine tests and blood tests could take 1-5 business days for results, while hair testing could take 4-10 business days. At-home drug testing, as well as some in-clinic tests may offer more rapid initial results, but the final conclusive results will take longer.

  • Is drug testing covered by my insurance?

If the drug test is a pre-employment requirement or required by your employer, your employer will cover the cost of the test and will usually send you to a specific lab or draw station to facilitate the test. Beyond that, drug tests are typically out of pocket, and therefore not covered by insurance. It is possible, depending on your plan, that you could submit the receipt to your insurance requesting reimbursement.

  • What is the most accurate drug test?

There are many different ways to collect a sample for a drug test including hair, saliva, and sweat, but blood tests are the most accurate. They are also the most invasive and costly given that they are processed by a trained phlebotomist and analyzed in a lab, and usually the variety that are required by serious employers.

Came in today to complete a drug screening for a school program I’ve been accepted to. The process was super easy and pleasant. The receptionist was very nice and clear on how to complete the paperwork. The EMT, Ashley, was kind and understanding when my bladder refused to listen to me on my first attempt. Overall, it was a good convenient experience and I would definitely come back here for care.

I was a walking and I walked in for a drug screen requested by my potential employer and the receptionist not only allowed me to come and walk in extremely late she took care of my drug screen in 15 minutes I was in and out during the check-in process not only did she assist me I watched her so three other patients issues and executed with professionalism knowledge Grace in a very efficient manner. She was amazing I wish I got her name but she is definitely a success for this company

My first time at this next care I went for a drug test and a TB test for pre-employment I did have to wait but it wasn't so long that it irritated me once I got in the doctor was very friendly and easy-going front office staff was nice and very helpful if I ever needed to go to an urgent care for medical help I would choose this facility it's close to home open 24 hours staff is friendly

I only came here cause if my drug screen - staff/front desk was not friendly. They were abrasive - seem like if given a choice they would decline people coming in 15 min before closing time. My procedure would probably be one of the quickest but was being told they were closing soon incase I wanted to come back if unneeded more time. Just came across wrong.

I wish to commend everyone that I had the pleasure of interacting with today. When I was faced with what at first seemed like a no-win situation (major traffic congestion from Route 95 that eventually spilled over to Route 1 North). After 2 calls attempting to find some type of solution, I was eventually transferred to the Fettle office and once there an exception was made which aided me to come in for the drug screening part of my physical (for I wanted to ensure that I was well hydrated to not add on any additional time, so while driving to the location I had dranked 5 bottles of water). Afterwards I was added to the list of other waiting patients and within1-2 hours, my physical was completed and I was able to walk out with my paperwork in hand. Many thanks ti the staff at the Fettle staff, you all are Super!!!

Everything went off without a hitch. The only problem I ran into was trying to explain to the receptionist that the paperwork I presented her was sufficient for getting a pre-ordered drug test. It took me going home, printing up proof of the above conversation and coming back to help her to understand the situation. I'm glad I didn't live far. Once the matter was cleared up, everything went well.

I went in for a pre employment physical evaluation and a drug screening, went pretty well, except for the urine drug test. I have never done any drugs in my life, but this thing made it look like I do. it came back positive for opioids and morphine, a substance that naturally occurs in poppy seeds, which I ate on two “everything bagels” for lunch the previous day. Poppy seeds have enough codeine and morphine that naturally are in them that it triggered this false positive. I am just disappointed that the test can’t differentiate from a person who naturally consumes it through food, or malicious illegal use of a substance. I can’t believe that an everything bagel could be the cause of a bump in the road for me getting a job. Now I have to wait 3 to 5 days for an “accurate” lab test to see if it was naturally consumed through food, or ingested some other way, in which I have no idea how.

I go by PhysicianOne Urgent Care once a week, and luckily have never had a need for their services. Having to do a drug test for work, they were the closest approved location so I said “let’s give them a shot”. I can only say good things about the experience. The staff was kind and very professional. Given the fact that I was a walk in, the wait time was very good as well. Would definitely recommend to others. 5 stars!

Came in for pre employment drug screening and immediately Daisy at the desk made me feel welcome and very comfortable to be there. The wait time was short and the staff was very friendly and I genuinely felt they wanted me there. I was thinking about asking Daisy out but I saw a ring on her finger and my heart broke. I wander if they treat that too. 🤔

My visit was for an employment drug screening. The two ladies at the front were awesome. They were both knowledgeable, considerate, patient and kind. They greeted/acknowledged every single person that entered the facility and made us feel welcome. The lady who helped me after being called back was the same! It is evident that all three of these ladies take pride in their work and the service that they provide for their patients! In a world where every thing currently seems so dark, these ladies were rays of sunshine! Kudos to each of them!

I couldn't give them 5 stars for wait time because that would mean it was perfect, (there wasn't a wait). However, the wait wasn't long at all!!! The same with quality of care, I was in for random employee drug screen so wasn't much care that had to be given. No matter the situation or reason for visit, I've used this place several time for different reasons and never had anything to complain about. The staff are very friendly!

I was sent to this facility for regularly scheduled company drug testing. I do not feel it was appropriate to request more personal information than was necessary for this test on separate ‘Doc’s In’ form/s; especially where the test was company paid. When asked what happens to my information, I got vague incomplete answers. This experience leaves me with a bad feeling as to what will happen as a result.

It was good; however when I was checking in I could not remember the word recoverytrek when I did the girls up front said in a loud voice “oh your here for a drug test!!” And then laughed. I recommend that they understand that they consider that patient might not want everyone to know what they are there for. I don’t want the girls to get in trouble just a good teaching point. No harm no foul on my end.

This was my first trip to this location. It was for a drug screening for employment. I did have to wait for about an hour, however, I was a walk in patients and did not ha e an appointment. The staff was very friendly and the facility was clean. It is awkward for it was my first time to have to pee in a cup for employment. And there is no sink in the bathroom to wash your hands afterwards. I was informed this is because of the nature of the visit. All in all it was a good experience.

Had a random urine drug screen and Kristen was great! She was professional, prompt and had a smile on her face. I only put a 3 for wait time because when I checked in I told receptionist I really had to pee and was told the only thing she could do was let me use the bathroom and give me a bottle of water. My wait was only about 25 min but by then I was pacing and about to wet my pants.

I booked my appointment for a pre-employment drug screen a day in advance, arrived 15 minutes early and still had to wait almost an hour just to pee in a cup and sign a few forms. I understand that some patients with legitimate health concerns had to be seen immediately but it also forced me to sit in a waiting room for a prolonged period with people who may have been Covid positive. I do appreciate that everyone was masked but that was my main concern.

2nd time there this year. Great response. Made appointment on line. Worked great! Felt I was listened to and was cared for by every staff member. Bathroom for cultures was not the most tidy, (pubic hair on back of toilet and seat.) and didn't like to have to wash my hands outside the toilet room. I was not there for a drug test. Overall experience was nice considering i wasn't feeling well.

The wait was really long didnt leave until almost 5 pm..lots of Walmart drug tests that day...back of house was very awesome...woman at the front desk on the other hand took her attitude out on customers and was later complaining to someone on her cellphone she couldnt leave because we were all there 5 of us total.very rude disrespectful to an elderly woman who questioned why someone who showed up after all of us got to go when it was her turn.. If I wouldn't have been there to get a drug test for a job I would shut that woman down quickly...customer service

Went in for a drug screening for pre-employment, the staff was courteous and polite. Overall very professional staff for being there on the weekend!!! I was impressed and I think other people should go there if they ever need to. Well done.

About Drug Tests

There are a variety of options for drug tests in Marshfield, each able to detect illegal or prescription drugs in urine, blood, hair, perspiration, or saliva. The most common method of drug screening is urine testing, however, blood and hair tests are also used for specialized purposes. At-home drug tests are also readily available, but usually only test for one or two narcotics, such as marijuana, methamphetamine, and opiates such as heroin and cocaine. Lab-based drug tests are more thorough and screen for a wide range of substances and alcohol at the same time.

Drug testing is used for a variety of purposes, including assessing whether or not someone has recently consumed drugs or alcohol. Employers frequently utilize them as a pre-employment screening tool or sometimes as a requirement of on-going employment. In addition, drug testing for performance-enhancing drugs and other illegal substances are routinely conducted by athletic organizations. Law enforcement and courts employ drug testing in both criminal and civil cases. Finally, if your doctor has prescribed an opioid, he or she may request a drug test to ensure you're getting the correct dose of your medication.

A drug test is a very simple procedure that requires no preparation and poses no risk. The most frequent type of test is a urine test, which entails submitting a urine sample in a lab or medical office. The steps are as follows:

  1. Wash your hands thoroughly, and clean your genital area with a cleansing pad provided by the facility.
  2. Begin urinating into the toilet, then move the collection cup under your urine stream to collect at least two ounces of urine in the container. There should be markings on the cup to assist with measurement.
  3. When complete, properly seal the cup using the provided instruction, flus the toilet, wash your hands again, and return the specimen to the technician or healthcare provider as instructed.

On the orders of law enforcement or the court, a technician may be required to be present while you take your sample. Make sure you follow all of the directions to guarantee that your test result is genuine and that you do not have to repeat the process.
