I'm an RN and I don't like very many doctors. My first appointment with Dr. Weston was very impressive. He was extremely knowledgeable about my complicated medical history. He was thorough in explaining all my questions and concerns. His compassion with my "taking care of myself" was appreciated beyond words. I have never felt rushed or as if Dr. Weston wasn't completely listening to me. I completely trust Dr. Weston's evaluation and judgment. I could not have chosen a better provider. I've never had a problem with any staff member, but then again, my husband says I'm friendly. It doesn't take much, even when you're sick.

Doctors Care, Little River - 2246 Hwy 17, Little River
I have been to this facility in the past and also recently and have had wonderful experiences! This.past time I had a little bit of a wait but I did not sign in ahead and I think that would’ve improved matters. The care I received took care of my problem and they even called to check on me TWICE! The doctor was very pleasant. I would definitely recommend Doctors Care Walk-In in Little River, SC.

About Pregnancy Tests

A pregnancy test helps you confirm whether you’re pregnant. Many signs and symptoms of pregnancy overlap with other health and medical conditions, but getting a pregnancy test can reveal whether conception is the reason for your symptoms. A missed menstrual period is usually the primary sign of pregnancy, but other causes of a missed period include diabetes, drug abuse, polycystic ovarian syndrome, and oral contraceptives.

Determining whether you’re pregnant is crucial to the health of your unborn baby, as you need to take extra precautions to make sure you and your baby are safe. For example, spending time in environments where you inhale cigarette smoke or toxic fumes is harmful to your fetus, and medications such as opioids carry serious risks for mothers and their unborn children.

Common signs of pregnancy include tender, swollen breasts, nausea and vomiting, fatigue, headaches, increased urination, mood swings, food cravings, and light spotting. If you experience these symptoms regularly, you might be pregnant and can benefit from taking a pregnancy test.

Pregnancy Test FAQs

  • Can I get a free pregnancy test in Whiteville?

If you don't have health insurance or don't have access to a doctor, a community health clinic or a Planned Parenthood health center may be able to provide you with a free or low-cost pregnancy test. If you do have insurance, many commercial plans will fully cover the cost of a pregnancy test at an in-network provider including primary care doctors, medical laboratories, and both retail clinics and urgent care centers.

  • Where can I get a pregnancy test in Whiteville?

In general, pregnancy tests will be available at Whiteville-area urgent care centers, retail clinics, primary care doctor offices, and medical laboratories. While walk-in appointments are typically available, booking a visit online will reduce your wait time and ensure you determine whether or not you are pregnant as soon as possible.

  • How soon can I test for pregnancy?

For the best accurate result, wait until the week following your missed menstruation to take a pregnancy test. If you don't want to wait until your period has skipped, wait at least one to two weeks after you've had sex. If you are pregnant, your body needs time to develop detectable levels of HCG.

  • How much does a pregnancy test cost in Whiteville?

If you are uninsured, blood tests and urine tests in-clinic can cost anywhere from $50 to $200. This price doesn’t include the doctor’s consultation. Search for general practitioners and women’s health specialists to get a better idea of the cost in the Whiteville-area today.
