There are 2 ways to order a lab test. The first way is by visiting one of our many Urgent Care partners for a referral, which allows you to use insurance. The second option is by choosing a self-pay, self-ordered test, which doesn't require provider guidance or referral. After you purchase your test, you'll receive testing instructions.
Lab test check samples of body tissues or fluids, such as blood and urine, to determine if the results are normal. There are many reasons to get a lab test, from routine evaluations to help diagnosing specific diseases or conditions.
Some blood tests require that you refrain from eating or drinking anything but water prior to having your blood drawn. Fasting or diet requirements will be detailed after you book your test.
Self-pay tests are only available for adults 18+. If you need a test for your child, our Urgent Care partners can order a lab test for you.
You can expect to provide a small sample of your body fluid, such as urine, blood, stool, saliva, or semen, during a lab test. The method of obtaining samples for a lab test varies based on the type of test. You can expect a healthcare professional to collect a blood, nasal, or throat specimen. You will provide urine, fecal, or sputum samples.
The turnaround time for lab test depends on the complexity of the test and other factors. As soon as your results are ready, you will recieve a notification. If you booked your test through Quest, you can log into your account to see the status of your results.
You will receive an email notification or text message when your results are ready. For self-ordered tests, you can log in and view the results on your Quest Results page.

Debit cards and Apple Pay are also accepted. Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) cards can also be used if they work as credit/debit cards.
