Serving as a primary care provider in the Putnam area, New England Family Medical and Walk-in Center sees mostly an appointment-driven patient population, however, they may support walk-in patients during certain hours. It appears as though their practice is routinely open 7 days a week at their clinic located at 52 Church St with today's hours being 8:00AM to 6:00PM. It is certainly best to call the clinic to schedule an appointment, or ask about walk-in availability.

Very professional, very clean, and I don't feel rushed. I feel like they listen to me and take their time with the diagnosis! Very kind from the front desk to the Doctor and Nurse Practitioner! If the waiting room is full and I ask how long a wait, they tell me it will be how ever long. Then I know what time frame I am dealing with and I don't mind. One Sat. morning was full and I ran an errand and came back, they called my name!! I prefer going here than to my primary care physician, which I never get to see anyway!

If I could put negative stars I would. This place is TERRIBLE. I called the office 7 times with no answer before just showing up for a walk-in appointment. They were incredibly rude and even turned my son away because they were an hour and a half behind. They did not ask what was wrong or why I was there. Asked if I could put his name on the waiting list and return but was told no because he had never been a patient there before. This is not my first experience with this organization and many family members have had crap service. I certainly will never ever go back!!!

Dr. B is SUPER good, and the lady at the front desk was always nice to me as well. There was a nurse there today that I believed was doing Covid testing who was walking in an elderly patient Through the side steps, up two stairs with no railing and walking a mile ahead of her not helping. The older lady lost her balance and fell back in the parking lot and smashed her head on the concrete. I was walking to the front of the entrance and heard her head hit the concrete and watched her lose her balance and fall while the nurse just watched. I went running to help her. The nurse then told her that she couldn’t help her up because the nurse was in a boot so I waited for a family member of the lady’s to come to help me get her off of the ground. Meanwhile when I try to explain to the nurse that she slammed her head Thinking she would be like “oh I know I saw we will check her out” she looked at me and said she did not hit her head and gave me attitude even though she saw everything, not caring one bit how serious it could be. Afterwords the elderly lady was holding her head and complaining about hitting her head. She never once cared about the patient or helped her when she fell Almost seemed like it was a joke to her despite how serious it could of been, Very sickening.
