I was very impressed with both the nurse and the doctor, great bedside manner for my two-year-old. They made it so much easier, thank you very much!

Great quick care. My only complaint is - the Dr. pushed to “easily” get my prescription filled at the CVS next door so I’d have my meds that night. I waited 2hrs for it there / not feeling well - for them to tell me they were closing and wouldn’t have my prescription filled until noon the next day. SO don’t use CVS they are horrible... but the Care at the clinic was great otherwise!

I live locally in the neighborhood, I come here all the time when my partner and I are sick. Previous experience led me to believe that I could come here again. I am an HIV positive transgender woman and today I experienced the most discrimination that I have ever experienced in my entire life, at the hands of your staff. From the moment that I walked in the entire experience was really bad. But like I said it’s the closest to my house so I just continued with my paperwork. Upon arrival the provider was very argumentative and monopolized the conversation. He used language like “people like you” when referring to my HIV diagnosis and refused to use my correct pronouns. I calmly asked if he could calm the energy down in the room, he then got incredibly defensive and started to mock me by explaining things extremely slow, like I was special-needs. He then proceeded to inform me “this is how he treats people like me with my diagnosis.” I told him I was extremely confused of the whole situation because I was here to get medicine. He kept going on and on how I was refusing his care and being very argumentative and just took it to a level where it didn’t need to be. All I was asking was for him to slow down and that I wanted a Covid test. I was not only denied a Covid test but I was denied care in general after going and getting a x-ray. They brought me back into the room to which the nurse, I presume, was asking me what kind of Covid test. She started yelling “which one did I get last time?! which one did I get last time?!” and she was naming it by the code that your facility uses which I did not know. I looked at them puzzled and said I am not sure, I had two Covid test last time the rapid and the one that they send out. That’s when the provider decided to cancel all care and proceeded to tell me that he was going to see me and give me a Covid test but that was it he wasn’t going to write the prescriptions that we already previously talked about. which was azithromycin pack and cough medicine promethazine. They claimed that I was refusing my Covid screening and they could not help me anymore. I was obviously extremely upset by this point, I got up and I asked them, “why are you refusing me medical care, you’re being trans phobic.” to which the doctor and providers all got on the same team and decided that I had to leave. When I demanded the contact to their superior they refused to give me any information. They kept saying, “sir you need to leave.” Even though I asked them to use she or they pronouns. I did everything they asked of me and still was treated like garbage, like I was not a human being. I am incredibly saddened by this interaction and I will be making a video about your facility specifically about the transphobia on my TickTock channel to which I have 30K followers. I will put the name of this facility and I will warn all of my LGBTQ plus followers to never go to this area or this urgent care. I am absolutely appalled by the way that I was treated and if this goes nowhere and I don’t receive any information on my interaction you can believe that I am going to do whatever it takes to get my voice heard. Right down to calling the news I am deeply saddened by the provider and staffs choice on how they treated me today. They said and I quote, “get out sir we can refuse care to anyone at any time” and I said, “oh does that make you feel really awesome to refuse care to a trans person.” I would just like you to know whoever reads this that you have an incredibly trans phobic and homophobic staff on hand and I will be taking this to the highest place of recognition. If you have any issues or questions or concerns with my experience or would like to reach out to me personally my phone number is: 315-382-9369 If I do not hear back about this I will be filing a grievance. The provider seemed more interested in going on her break then providing quality care.

This place is rude and really the provider does not seem to know how to treat. They kept recommending over the counter medication. When told that OTC meds are not helping, she said “Well I dont have a magic pill”. She did not even try to give any prescription. She just wanted to give Nyquil and move on to the next patient.
