I left feeling very happy but the experience following my visit directly attribute to the low score. I was seen quickly and the person that checked me in was very nice and courteous. Nurse practitioner Thomas was professional, thorough and courteous. HOWEVER, my prescription should have been sent to Walgreens just 1 mile away BUT it was sent to Luke AFB, 26 miles away. I learned of the error following a long wait at Walgreens. Unfortunately it was 8:01 PM, I immediately drove back to the NextCare and arrived at 8:06 (stop lights and traffic). I knocked on the door, holding up my paperwork so they knew I was just there. I explained the prescription was sent to the wrong place. The person that answered, I believe the night manager, said I must have given the wrong information, I told her Luke is 26 miles away and I would not have given that information. She then told me “The provider is gone, we’re closed, call in the morning.” I told her I NEED my prescription, she locked the door and walked away. I was experiencing extreme physical discomfort. Her response and actions left me feeling disappointed, frustrated and angry.
