My son had an ear infection and his primary care doctor was completely booked with appointments. I didn't want to go to the ER for this, plus the wait would have been extremely long. This urgent clinic took care of us quickly, the wait was not long, and the staff and doctor were great.

I am an urgent care/family med nurse. I understand waits and how things can back up. With all the being said I’ll never come back again. I was told when we got in the room there were two pts in front of my kid. We were waiting 40 minutes past our scheduled “appointment” time before we even got to the room. I was annoyed but it was okay because again I get it. 40 minutes later after the 2 pt notification we were told there was one more pt in front of us. How do you spend 40 minutes with one pt in an urgent care setting? Additionally the collection of my kids swabs was crazy- carrying them out of the room out in the open in the tech’s hands with no identifiers or anything. The NP never asked me any questions beyond what pharmacy we wanted. She got a run down from the tech I’m sure but it’s just nice after waiting so long to have more than 3-5 mins with the practitioner. In the end we got antibiotics and I suppose that’s something but this was such a weird visit. Also the facility is pretty run down.

The person who was drawing my blood for lab work seemed to be very nervous. His hands were very shaky and he jabbed me with the needle 2x attempting to get blood return and was unsuccessful. He also moved the needle around to see if he could get blood. This led to him having to reach out to someone else to try and see if they would be able to get the blood. Another lady came in and after a few minutes she was able to get my bloodwork. I say for over an hour just waiting to be seen and then was in the back for 15-20 mins while they attempted to draw blood. I was stuck 3 times total and my insertion sites were sore. I’ve never had any issues with blood draw before but I felt the first person was new and hadn’t done this before. It was definitely a bad bloodwork appointment.

My interaction with staff was great , but meds were called in to pharmacy, and they had questions and no one returned there request . I called Monday morning and was told they would relay message to person on duty It's Tuesday evening and still nothing

Medical staff was amazing made my daughter feel comfortable during her care. However, your front desk admin was not very nice. She did not smile once during the whole process. Didn’t speak much to let me know what was needed. She was having computer issues it seemed and had to log into her phone. Not a friendly person at all.

Have had pain in and around my right shoulder blade off and on since Feb. Much worse in the past 3 days. Had trouble making an appointment online, but walked in and was seen by a PA right away. Talked with me. Started to examine me but changed her mind when experiencing pain when trying to lie down and said I needed to go the ER for imaging as need confirmation it wasn't a pulmonary embolism/pneumonia. Discussed with her that my symptoms did not seem to match her concerns. Still recommended the ER. I left with no examination heading to the ER. The ER Dr was surprised as said my history since Feb did not indicate a PE or pneumonia problem but rather a muscle strain. We discussed his thoughts that no CT scan/etc... was necessary and he left the next step of blood work and then depending upon the results, possibly a CT scan to be done up to me. Bottom line, he did blood work to rule out a clot which it did. Prescribed a muscle relaxer and within less than an hour of taking it I'm some better. I feel the recommendations from NextCare were over the top and not necessary. Nice enough people, but I would not go there again.
