Quest Diagnostics - 1069 Delaware Ave
I came in one day without an appoint and waited two hours as a walk-in before I had to leave without being tested. I made an appointment through Quest Lab Testing for the next day, showed up on time, got tested easily and was on my way in 15-20 minutes. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Sparkling Clean

My eye was almost swollen shut from poison ivy, so I went in. She told me right off there would probably be around a 45 minute wait because of two other cases there, which I appreciated being told up front! Mine wasn’t an emergency so it was fine. When it was my turn to go in, it was only a few minutes before the doctor came in...They were so nice (and I wish I was better with remembering names) and the doctor made sure everything else was ok and wasn’t rushing me through. I would recommend this place....I appreciated their kindness and efficiency!

Bucyrus Chlamydia Testing

Who should get tested for chlamydia?

Chlamydia is a common sexually transmitted disease (STD) that can infect both men and women. According to the CDC, anyone who is sexually active can get chlamydia, but it is more common in young people, particularly women aged 25 or younger. Other groups at risk include men who have sex with men, and individuals with multiple sexual partners or those who do not use condoms consistently. Regular testing is recommended for these high-risk groups, even if they do not have symptoms, to prevent complications and transmission to others.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for chlamydia is crucial as it often presents no symptoms, leading to it being undiagnosed and untreated. If left untreated, chlamydia can cause serious health problems, including infertility in women and increased risk of getting or giving HIV. Early detection through testing can prevent these complications and ensure prompt treatment, which typically involves antibiotics. It also helps in preventing the spread of the infection to sexual partners.
