I was able to choose a Quest lab location and schedule an appointment. Check in was easy, and I only needed to provide my name and DOB. They were able to locate my order in their system. They were already aware that my labs were paid for prior to the appointment. I had my labs done on a Wednesday, and I received my results by Saturday. Great experience.

Hometown was super clean and inviting. The staff was very kind and cool and made me feel at home. The nurse and Doctor who saw me were so kind. I hurt my arm and they did a super low cost in-house x-ray and took care of the sprain in office. Then called to follow up a few days later to see how I was feeling. I was really impressed with how caring they were. I don't have a PCP and will definitely be going back. I saved so much money compared to the ER.

Circleville Chlamydia Testing

Who should get tested for chlamydia?

Chlamydia is a common sexually transmitted disease (STD) that can affect anyone who is sexually active. According to the CDC, sexually active women under the age of 25, as well as older women with risk factors such as new or multiple sex partners, should be tested annually for chlamydia. Men who have sex with men should also be tested annually, and more frequently if they have multiple or anonymous partners. It's also recommended that pregnant women get tested for chlamydia to prevent passing the infection to their newborn during childbirth.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for chlamydia is crucial as it often presents no symptoms, leading to it being dubbed the 'silent infection'. If left untreated, chlamydia can cause serious health problems such as pelvic inflammatory disease in women, which can lead to infertility. In men, untreated chlamydia can cause pain and swelling in one or both testicles. Regular testing allows for early detection and treatment, preventing these complications.
