Stillwater Medical Urgent Care And Occupational Medicine - 518 E Lakeview Rd
Was able to walk in and be seen within 30 min even though it was a busy Monday morning. The staff and doctor were wonderful. The only thing I would change is when you check in you are asked what you’re being seen for and everyone in the waiting room can hear. There’s no privacy. Maybe have people fill out a slip instead?

Stopped here on a trip from South Dakota to Austin TX. Had a horrible bladder infection. Got right in and received treatment. Had the pharmacy stay open to pick up the medication. Great place!

About Hepatitis test

Who should get tested for hepatitis?

According to the CDC, anyone who has been exposed to the hepatitis virus, or is at risk due to certain behaviors or conditions, should get tested. This includes individuals who have used or are currently using intravenous drugs, those who have had unprotected sex with multiple partners, men who have sex with men, and individuals with HIV. In addition, anyone born to a mother with hepatitis, healthcare workers, and individuals who have received blood transfusions or organ transplants before July 1992 should also consider getting tested.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for hepatitis is important as it is a silent disease that can cause serious health complications if left untreated. According to the CDC, chronic hepatitis can lead to liver cirrhosis, liver cancer, and liver failure, which can be fatal. Early detection through testing allows for timely treatment, reducing the risk of these severe outcomes and improving overall health.
