Vinita Schroeder, MD, completed her undergraduate education at the University of Texas at Austin. Dr. Schroeder received her medical degree from UT Health Science Center San Antonio. She completed an internship and residency in pediatrics at Children’s Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. She completed her fellowship in pediatric and adult Allergy, Asthma and Immunology at the UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. She became board certified in Pediatrics in 1995 and Allergy and Immunology in 1997. Following her fellowship, Dr. Schroeder began her private practice in 1997 in Rockwall, Texas.
She moved her practice to Highland Park in 2004. Dr. Schroeder specializes in the treatment of asthma, allergies, and immune disorders for both adults and children. She spends time educating her patients on their disease and treatment plan. She prides herself on an individualized, hands-on approach to patient care, which results in building long-term relationships. Dr. Schroeder also makes herself available after hours for any emergency that may arise.
Dr. Schroeder is committed to continuing education, training, and research to provide patients the very latest developments in her fields of interest.
Dr. Schroeder is a Clinical Assistant Professor at UT Southwestern and is a member of local and national organizations including The American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, The American College of Allergy and Immunology, and the Texas Allergy, Asthma and Immunology Society.
