I had the most unpleasant experience of having Dr. Summers as my provider. We will just say that at no point did I feel cared for by Dr. summers. I was treated like a inconvenience to her. I did not feel she was thorough at any point during the exam, I felt as though the communication was very poor, her interpersonal skills are quite low, and I felt as though my questions were not answered. Not only were my questions not answered, I did not ask my questions because I felt stupid asking her. I paid to come in and speak with a professional and I think I am allowed to ask reasonable questions about my care and my prognosis. I would also say that her manipulations of my foot were painful and not careful whatsoever. I would further say that her treatment plan was remedial at best. I asked to speak to a manager. I was told she was not available so I was directed to the next person in charge. I don’t remember her name but she was very nice. She connect me with a Dr. Eisner. Dr. Eisner was very professional. He answered all my questions. He was very thorough and made me feel good about not only the prognosis but the care plan. I left with all my questions answered, a boot, and I am walking with MUCH more comfort and relief. I have serious concerns about Dr. Summers and I would not recommend patient first again as long as she’s a doctor there. I was embarrassed and I wouldn’t want anyone else feeling that way.
