This was my first time with PM Pediatrics and probably my last. We arrived on time for the 2pm appointment but they informed us there were 2 people in front of us and we should wait in the car. After 30 mins waiting I went to see again if they were ready. They said no, but we're close; they just need to get a the room ready. I said fine, just call me when it is. The receptionist then asked at that time if I'd like to handle the copay, to which I said let me check with my wife how she'd like me to pay and I'll take care of it when you call us back in. Another 20 mins and still no call. So I go in again and another receptionist says the room is ready, did I take care of the copay? At which point I thought, if it is a prerequisite to submit the copay before they provide care, why didn't they just say that instead if making us wait almost an hour in the car with a sick ad uncomfortable infant? Also in my experience with many Healthcare offices and practices it was not compulsory to process the copay prior to receiving services. In fact 9 times out of 10 I have paid afterwards and sometimes a bill is just sent to the home and you don't pay at the POS. Nevertheless i calmly paid the amount. Waiting an hour to finally get called in and then on top of that the doctor took 20 mins to come see us. What is the point of selecting an appointment time online if you still have to wait an exorbitant amount of time when you get there? So, Almost an hour and a half to see the doctor for just 5 mins. Had to take 3 hours away from work,, when I expected at most 2. Based on that, my experience was soured and I don't think I will drive all that way for such inconsiderate treatment and lengthy wait time.

Doctor showed lack of professionalism. My son came in for a fracture of is middle finger from punching the floor (coping with loss of sister this Summer) instead of prescribing ibuprofen and ice pack for his hand, he simply asked my son if he wanted an ice pack or ibuprofen. My son is 17 years old and emotionally unstable at the time, so of course he said no. The doctor just left it alone, although as a medical professional he knows that decreasing the inflammation will with help with proper healing. As a mother and nurse I had to ask for him to get a dose of ibuprofen before being discharged.

Front desk girl was kinda rude never made eye contact when she was talking to me I thought she was on the phone. Dr. Was in the room for only less than 5 mins when I had both of my kids inside the room to be seen by Doctor. The only nice person that was nicer was the male tall medical assistant assisting the front and went inside the room to ask me questions. I use to like this place but I'm not so sure if I will ever go back to that place. Staffs need to be more friendly since it's a kids place and Doctors need to take their time seeing patients and don't be in a rush.

The staff was very friendly. The place is clean and very welcoming. However, when the doctor came to observe my child she stated that his symptoms was not on the severe range of the scale and he didn't require testing based on her observations. I asked for the test anyway and she stated that they didn't have anymore test available. Later that night my child's symptoms and breathing got worse and we went to the hospital. The test was automatically offered and he tested positive and was sent home with at home treatment care. -___-
