I had a pos+ home Covid test about 7 days before I came in. I could not stop coughing. There was not a lot of people in the waiting room, I was called in a very short time. Dr was very good. Very attentive and accomodating.

everything was fine until the phone call to come back in. when you don’t feel well, you’re not exactly clearheaded enough to think that when they say we’re going to call you they mean a phone call not a text message since everything else regarding the appointment had been via text messaging. and this is important because without the spam filter on I would literally get 100 meaningless phone calls a day. I have no idea how to turn it off. So the phone call was declined. But I saw it. So I ran in to say hey I’m here and I got told my appointment might’ve been given away since I didn’t answer the call. But I sat down anyway and when someone came to get me that person to griped at me and said well you have to turn that off because that’s just the way it is. And, he was very angry that I chose to come in for an appointment. He made it very clear that he thought I should’ve been a virtual visit. Now, I’m a nurse with 35 years of experience. And I knew there was potential for it to be one of three things a sinus infection strep throat or Covid. Although I had recently tested negative for Covid and didn’t have any exposures. I am completely unaware of anybody having the ability to diagnose a sinus infection or strep throat through a virtual visit. That Hass to be hands-on lights on looking at a patient. Now once he was done, the APRN, Alicia, was absolutely lovely as was the technician that came in to do a Covid swab, just in case. I’m absolutely grateful I was seen today. Being healthcare worker myself I’m grateful for all of us that show up to work every day. And I understand how easy it is to get frustrated. Still our job to be nice
