The front desk lady was rude right off the bat. I understand that there is a lot going on during the holidays with many sick people, but treating people like they are an inconvenience to you is not the way to go about it—especially when you work at the front desk. After arriving as a walk-in, 11 minutes after opening (8:11am), I waited two hours until being seen. The nurse with the sparkly crocs is the only nice one I’ve met at this location. She didn’t rush me but was super efficient—asked me my symptoms, took my vitals, then took a covid and strep test. I waited about another hour until a physician came in to tell me my results were negative. She then recommended I see a primary care provider, drink tea, and take allergy meds (I’m so sick that I can’t even speak because I lost my voice…). She acted like she couldn’t send me on my way fast enough—didn’t prescribe anything for my sickness. I’m going to see a doctor tomorrow who can hopefully help me.

Need to figure out the appointment set up. There should be no reason why you should have to make an appointment to get in to be seen and then have to sit for over 2 hours after you arrived on time. Cant blame it on covid either cause it's been this way for decades. If someone makes an appointment for 5pm they should be seen at 5pm end of story. You're doing something wrong if you cant follow your own schedule Medstar. Fix this problem. People come to you for help.
