Above and beyond what I expected. Staff was very friendly and wait time was less than 5 minutes. I received fast medical care and normally hate taking shots, but the nurse that gave the shot- she was the calm after the storm. I hate needles but she was so fast I didn't feel a thing. I highly recommend this place to anyone seeking immediate minor emergency treatment. If I could rate the Services higher - I would give them 10 stars.

While I had to wait a while, it was worth it because of the care given by the tech and Ginger Thompson. (One of my issues is with my eyes, and I have trouble reading name tags.) They were both professional and efficient. I would recommend both of them. Thank you.

My Husband woke up with escalating fever. We came without an appointment. It took two hours, but, realistically, without an appt. And so much flu going around, it was what we expected. The Staff was excellent and set expectations. I would highly recommend.

I go to this office before i go anywhere! I have always had a great experience and even when the family had to go in together. I hate needles but they have a nurse that’s very gentle and sweet. They are very informative on what they are doing to you and for you. They explain everything they can and think you need to know. I would recommend them any time.

Hands down one of my favorite pop-in clinics! The staff is exceptional from the front desk to the provider. I love how personable the women of the office are! I am greeted by name everytime I walk-in! The receptionist even asks about my family from previous conversations I've had with her! Makes me feel at home. Jennifer Dunn is the best provider ever! I feel like she is a best friend in a way! This office and entire staff truly care here. I highly recommend them.

About Gonorrhea Testing

Who should get tested for gonorrhea?

According to the CDC, anyone who is sexually active can get gonorrhea, but it's most commonly diagnosed in people between the ages of 15 and 24. Other high-risk groups include those with multiple sexual partners or those who don't use condoms regularly. If you live in Memphis, TN, and fall into these categories, it's essential to get tested for gonorrhea to protect your health and the health of your partners.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for gonorrhea is crucial for several reasons. Firstly, gonorrhea often shows no symptoms, especially in women, meaning it can go undetected and untreated, leading to serious health complications like infertility, ectopic pregnancy, and increased risk of HIV. Secondly, it helps prevent the spread of the disease to others. Lastly, early detection allows for effective treatment, which typically involves antibiotics.

Gonorrhea testing options in Memphis, TN:

Urgent care and walk-in clinics

These facilities often offer same-day or next-day appointments, making it convenient for individuals with busy schedules. At-home testing

At-home testing is another convenient option for gonorrhea testing. These kits can be ordered online and used in the privacy of your own home, with results typically available within a few days.

Prevalence of gonorrhea in Memphis

According to the CDC, Memphis, located in Shelby County, has a higher rate of gonorrhea compared to the national average. The prevalence of gonorrhea in Memphis has been on the rise in recent years, mirroring a national trend. This increase underlines the importance of regular testing, particularly for those in high-risk groups.

Several risk factors contribute to the high prevalence of gonorrhea in Memphis. These include a high rate of poverty, limited access to healthcare, and lower levels of education about STDs. Additionally, Memphis's location and size contribute to the high rates, as larger urban areas tend to have higher rates of STDs.

Other STDs in Memphis
