With only a few walk-in clinics nearby, Valley Day and Night Clinic may be your best option for immediate care inHarlingen. They are open today from 8:00AM to 10:00PM, as well as 6 days a week. As long as you visit them during their business hours, you should be able to walk right into 1214 Dixieland Rd, #8B and be seen relatively quickly. The national average for patients waiting at an urgent care is between 15-30 minutes, so hopefully it shouldn't be too long of a wait.
As part of the Valley Day and Night Clinic group, they have a sister facility in Brownsville 22 miles away that you may want to consider if the wait gets too long.

I’ve been to this office before, and dont remember the staff being so rude. I Honestly feel that their acknowledgment to the patients is very low. I asked for a drs excuse because I was seen by the physician and was told they couldn’t give me one due to HIPPA. they could only give me a receipt of the $85 I paid showing I was seen. There’s a lady literally throwing up besides me and it’s as if it’s normal. Will not be following up with this office.

Harlingen needs an alternative to the only urgent care currently available. The lobby was dirty and dusty. The doctor was good but did not introduce himself. The rest of the staff, although pleasant, needs lessons on customer service. Also, it seems Triage in an urgent care setting is indicated. As a medical professional I am acutely sensitive to using the ER for life or death situations which is why I sought out an urgent care.

I have been at the clinic two days in row trying to be seen by a doctor. First day the front desk attendant told me it was a 3 hour wait it was 5pm they close at 8 pm so they told me I may not see the doctor today and that it would be best to come back the following day. Came back the following day at 3pm there was only three people in the lobby and it took one and half hour to be seen.
