Most recent visit ... doctor was dismissive of my concerns. Very reluctant to write for an xray. Paperwork said that cause was unspecified when I gave clear details about how the injury occurred. The doctor repeatedly told me that I did not have "injuries". Maybe she meant no broken bones. ?? She was confrontational and her behavior was distant and ageist. Exhausting. The doctor removed wrappings that I had on my ankles. They were new. She threw them in the trash. She did not replace them with anything. Both ankles were sprained. She prescribed medication that another doctor did not agree with for me. Pain was not from so-called arthritis but from a very recent injury. That's why I went to vybe urgent care. It's often said that when you "hear hoof beats, don't look for zebras". The doctor wanted to be right, wanted to pad the record with how much "education" she had given me. Deceptive and fraudulent. I told her about how I had already implemented RICE principles for my sprained ankles. Yet that was written up as what she had done to "educate" me. I simply wanted to get in, get a diagnosis and treatment that would get me on the road to recovery. Long and winding road. Unnecessary roadblocks. Healrh disparities take many forms.

I went to your urgent care last Monday for what i thought was a sinus infection. I had a great experience with the receptionist and nurse who first helped me describe my symptoms for the doctor. We were making small talk and she said they were kind of slow today, not too busy. After she left, a nurse practitioner came in for a total of 1 1/2-2minutes tops. She listened to my breathing, tapped on my face 3 times and said it was a viral infection and went to get a script for steroids and an inhaler. The nurse who first helped me with my vitals and got my description of what was bothering me, came back with the scripts. I said I wanted to talk to the nurse practitioner again because none of this medication addressed my sinuses. I explained to her that I am susceptible to sinus infections and get them often when the seasons change. I am also an elementary school teacher and this is very common with my job. I asked for an antibiotic. She refused and said these would do the trick, I dont have a sinus infection. She explained the symptoms of a sinus infection, which I had all of them. She said it wasn't long enough. Well I continued to suffer for another week. Just today, after ANOTHER visit to ANOTHER urgent care, I was able to get the medication I needed to get healthy. An antibiotic for a sinus infection. I gave this experience a 1 star for this reason and the fact I wasted $30, my time and additional money on the scripts provided.
