Friendly Staff

Mary Bridge Children's Urgent Care, Gig Harbor (KIDS ONLY) - 4700 Point Fosdick Dr
Mary Bridge Children's Urgent Care is my favorite urgent care to go to. Convenient online scheduling, easy check-in process, fast wait times, concerns are addressed appropriately, friendly staff, and you're out in about an hour from start to finish. The only area that could be improved is if you have questions after your appointment, it's hard to get a hold of anyone, and then you don't get a call back. I highly recommend Mary Bridge Children's Urgent Care

Had a great experience with the staff and nurses at MultiCare indigo in Redmond. Made an appointment and was able to get in there within a few hours for a clogged up eardrum. They got me right in and were able to flush out both of my ears and restore my hearing. Extremely pleased with their their courteousness and care. They even stayed after closing to address my other ear which was nearly clogged as well. I'm grateful to all of them!

Getting Tested for STDs in Federal Way, WA

Who should get tested for STDs?

Anyone who is sexually active should consider getting tested for sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). This is particularly important for those with multiple sexual partners, individuals who have had unprotected sex, or those who have noticed symptoms of an STD. It's also crucial for pregnant women to get tested to prevent passing any potential infections to their babies. According to the CDC, certain groups like sexually active gay and bisexual men, and individuals with HIV should get tested more frequently.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for STDs is essential for maintaining good sexual health. Many STDs are asymptomatic, meaning they don't show any signs or symptoms. Without testing, these infections can go undiagnosed and untreated, leading to serious health complications such as infertility, certain types of cancer, and increased risk of HIV. Regular testing allows for early detection and treatment, reducing the risk of these complications and preventing the spread of STDs to others.
