Highly Rated

MultiCare Indigo Urgent Care, Lake Stevens - 911 Frontier Cir E, Lake Stevens
Very highly recommended. Walked in with no appointment and was told they had no openings until the afternoon, but I was welcome to wait. They scheduled an appointment online for me, for later that day. When I arrived at my appointment time, I was seen instantly. Dr Wendy and her staff were professional,  friendly, organized and caring. I was in and out quickly with a diagnosis and a prescription on its way to my drugstore. The entire suite was clean and disinfected, too. I highly recommend this facility, but be sure to make an appointment online before you go!

About Gonorrhea Testing

Who should get tested for gonorrhea?

According to the CDC, anyone who is sexually active can get gonorrhea, but it's most commonly found among people aged 15-24. If you've had unprotected sex, have a new partner, have multiple partners, or a partner who has an STD, you should consider getting tested for gonorrhea. Pregnant women should also get tested as the infection can be passed to the baby during childbirth.

Importance of getting tested

Gonorrhea is a sexually transmitted infection that can cause serious health problems if left untreated, including infertility in both men and women. It can also increase your risk of getting or transmitting HIV. Many people with gonorrhea don't have any symptoms, so testing is the only way to know if you have the infection. Early detection and treatment can prevent these complications.
