Wait time was a little longer than expected, but not too bad, considering I had no appointment and was my first visit. Even the nurses here seem to be extremely knowledgable. Masks required and see spray cleaner used very often. I feel comfortable coming here during these times and am pleased with the quality of care. They provide PCR tests for coronavirus btw. Got result (negative, phew) in two days through online portal access they email you.

Recent Lab Tests Reviews (20)

I preregistered but showed up 1hour early. There was only 1 line for all clients but pre-registering saved time ion all the personal info. Total time was about 15 minutes. They indicate the results are taking a little over 24 hours. Glad to have the testing available.

This was so easy and quick! Everyone practiced social distancing and wore face masks. Pre-registration was simple and they were ready for me even though I was early. I booked online. The providers were courteous and polite. The test was free.

This was a surprisingly good experience. No line. The guys at the walk-up table were professionally friendly. The test was easy. The instructions were sll easily understood. The minor issue, there were no signs identifying the test location. Overall, a very positive experience. Thank you.

- Verified patient on 9/26

I registered ahead of time on-line. There was some confusion in which line people were supposed to be in. For the amount of people being tested (approx 60) I thought it would take a lot longer. Took 25 min from arrival to departure. The person checking me and person administering test were awesome.

- Verified patient on 9/16

There was no wait at all. The staff were professional and friendly. Everything was clean and organized. Thank you. The results were easy to get and came quickly. Idid not have an appointment. The registration took maybe a minute. I would highly recommend this for anyone who needs a test.

We arrived early for the picked time and had very little to wait for. They confirmed the information and allowed my child to pick if they would do the swabbing, mom or the worker would. Overall satisfied with the ease it was for being a walk up testing spot.

This is my preferred testing site. I've been telling everyone to go here. Everyone is so friendly and its organized. The process is very quick from the time you get in line to receiving your results. Thank you

I would recommend this place over a clinic any day! This is a quick and easy place to get your Covid testing in Richland. The wait time was really short even without an appointment. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the facility was very clean.

- Verified patient on 11/3

We've been to this testing site multiple times for various family members. This was the best visit so far! Staff is always friendly and helpful but this time the set up was much more professional. Great signage for directing appointments and walk in traffic, new tent set up will be very nice for inclement weather, much improved testing windows for the safety of staff. Great improvements! We choose this testing site repeatedly for a few reasons, because of it's convenient location, the ability to book appointments online, and because the staff has always been professional and nice. Keep up the good work!

The “don’t recommend” was a mistake - meant to say YES I recommend. Second time having a Covid test this way - polite efficient professional and pleasant. Easy to do. And multiple convenient ways to check test results afterward.

- Verified patient on 8/5

This was my first visit to the George Washington Way testing site. It was well-organized, efficient, and the providers were kind and friendly. I like that the site it close to home and parking was plentiful. Thank you for the work you do.

- Verified patient on 11/25

Great people working there very friendly and fast will do it again if need to protect our community from spreading. I would recommend this site for testing. Check in was quick. I just walked in

- Verified patient on 9/20

Super easy to get tested here, especially with having made a quick appointment online. Parked, walked up and was out of there withing 5 minutes. People were friendly and efficient. Highly recommend as a quick easy way to get tested if you have some symptoms and want to be sure.

In and out as a “walk in” for a Covid test. The receptionist didn’t hesitate to accept me and the physician was courteous to recommend a fast test with consideration to our immediate need to know results.

- Verified patient on 1/28

One problem with the appointment scheduling software: I made my appointment online late in the evening on 9/18/21. My appointment time was 8:30 AM 9/19/21 (appointment times as early as 8:00 AM were offered). When I arrived at the Richland Covid test site at 8:20, the staff told me that they didn’t open until 9:00. However, everything was very nice and said they would take as soon as they were set up, which ended up being just after 8:30.

- Verified patient on 9/19

Very happy with this Community Testing Site! Easy to register online, minimal wait time, very friendly staff, quick turnaround on test results. If covid testing could be a pleasant experience, this is it!

EVERY vaccination & testing experience has seen top-notch professional and personable service!!!! Thank you for all that you do!!!! May you stay safe and protected. Best regards to ALL the staff and volunteers!!!! Thank you!!!!

- Verified patient on 11/21

No line, the check in person as well as the test tec we’re all super kind and friendly. Please thank them because it means a lot. I’m not feeling well at all from what I’m hoping is just a bad cold.

- Verified patient on 10/28

Quality verifying registrations and doing road side Covid test excellent. Organized, courteous respectful and clear what online paperwork was. Same for printed paper. Doing test simple no discomfort (as media leads one to expect). Confident there would be know hidden costs. News and actual experience of others DO make a barrier to getting medical care that includes behaviors that are for ones own and PUBLIC health. Based on my experience and to date, including no dehabilitating medical cost I would recommend to others this location and trust the online registration is not an insurance company seeking info to charge me

In and out for a covid test in 5 minutes, so simple and easy. The two ladies that helped me were kind, professional, and quick. Really helps having this valuable asset to community safety so easily available.

Richland Lab Tests

Lab tests take samples of your blood, urine, saliva, and other bodily secretions, which are then analyzed in a lab to help doctors diagnose and treat certain illnesses. Lab tests can be used to diagnose an illness, detect changes in an existing condition, and monitor how your body responds to a therapy, among other things. They can also be used to monitor the progression of a disease or a set of diseases.

If your doctor is unable to make a definitive diagnosis of your disease, or if you are having a variety of symptoms that could indicate a variety of disorders, he or she may request a lab test. To see how you're responding to a drug or to check if you're at risk for certain diseases, lab tests may be performed. If your doctor is unable to make a definitive diagnosis of your disease, or if you are having a variety of symptoms that could indicate a variety of disorders, he or she may request a lab test. To see how you're responding to a drug or to check if you're at risk for certain diseases, lab tests may be performed.

Some lab tests require no preparation at all, while others may require you to fast for eight to twelve hours before the test in order to avoid erroneous results from certain meals and beverages. Your healthcare provider may advise you to cease smoking, exercising, and taking certain medications and nutritional supplements for many hours or days before your blood test.

Before your lab test, ask your doctor for precise instructions to follow to minimize erroneous results and multiple trips to the lab for additional testing. A lab worker may use a needle to draw blood from your arm or prick your finger to collect a small sample of blood during a blood test. During a urine test, your physician will ask you to go to the restroom and urinate in a sterile cup, then set your sample on a shelf where a lab technician can pick it up and process it. The personnel at the lab testing facility will demonstrate how to do each type of test.
