MultiCare Indigo Urgent Care, North Spokane - 9420 N Newport Hwy
Matthew was friendly and attentive. He came in to check on me a few times while I was waiting in the room for the provider and offered me a beverage while I was waiting. This was my first time going to this location and I will definitely be coming back for my next acute care needs.  At first I thought the provider was abrasive but ultimately I feel that he has a no nonsense type of personality that I can respect. I feel like I was provided with a high quality of care from the whole team.

We are on vacation & my husband developed a sinus infection. Found Indigo online. We didn’t have an appointment & had to wait about two hours to be seen but care & employees were great. We felt well taken care of.

Today was normal and professional. Last Friday at around 3 pm in booth 3 I was really injured by the man giving test. I had him stop and would not let him continue. He had another tester come in and she did fine. He actually injured my sinus and it hurt for days.

Went to drive in COVID testing at Auburn with Fire department. So very efficient and friendly, with all the staff! Gently swabbed the nostrils, none of the stick it to the sinuses method. You definitely want to go here for your test. It’s drive up, but it’s best to have an appointment as you go to the faster lane!

There's no need to be scared or worried. A shorter Qtip type swab goes up the nose a short length and not back into your sinuses. It's far more kid friendly now.

Ty was very nice and quick to help me. I was very self conscious about my running nose and handing over my ID full of germs. He very nicely reassured me, put on some gloves, and disinfected everything without making me feel like I have the plauge. Very kind and thorough. Doctor was also great, listened to me about the nerve pain and built a plan together to treat my sinus symptoms. Truly appreciate the kindness and patience of everyone I saw today. Its a rough time to go to the doctors and I had to drag myself to go as it was. Thanks Indigo 😊

I wasn’t able to book my appt online, I’m not sure why the system would not accept the appt time listed. But I was able to call into the system and was told to simply show up Once there, everything went smoothly! I was only there a very short time. The test itself, was quite different from the one done at the UW where the swab they use goes at least twice as far (up into the sinuses) as the one used at Bellevue College. Anyway, I very much appreciate the efficiency of the king county system Now if only we can get vaccinations done similarly

I didn't know beforehand the testing facility is located at a defunct emissions testing center. It's a great use of the property. The staff are great. The process is super efficient. I walked up to the facility and followed the signs. I think I was done within 3 or 4 minutes, from arrival to departure. The swabbing of my sinuses was ticklish in a very mildly uncomfortable way -- they are good at it.

It was pretty easy to find but the parking lot was a little hard to get into. The test gave me a sinus infection. 😢

- Verified patient on 4/10

Very nice workers! Test is easier…they don’t need to go way up your nose into sinus cavities anymore. Test was easier to and didn’t hurt.

Everyone was friendly and got me in fast. Dean Ngo was who I saw and he was amazing.actually cared about what I had to say. I have a severe sinus infection and it was the first time I was ever given the option to do a culture to find out the exact bacteria to get the right antibiotic. That is the way it is supposed be. I had to share this because it seems hard to find drs or np etc that take the time to listen, do a thorough exam and care anymore.

I’ve had several PCR tests. The last one at the Polyclinic allowed me to swab my own nose and just the initial nasal section, not the six inch swab up both sinuses and twisted for five seconds each side. Even the antigen test I got before returning from Belize earlier this week only put the long swab up one side and withdrew it rapidly. I do appreciate the speed and ease of your drive through locations and the no waiting, each of the two times I visited for a test. Thanks

Staff was great and so helpful. I had a sinus infection and was having a coughing attack. The provider was so helpful and concerned. Great bedside manner.

- Verified patient on 10/2

Fast, professional, and empathetic. I didn’t catch the name of the guy who checked me in but he was great, and John was the one administering the test but he made me feel at ease. Really happy overall (surprising given they shoved a device into my sinus cavity)

Other than the uncomfortable feeling of the swab tickling my deep sinuses, it was a very pleasant experience - all staff were very kind and gentle.

It was my first COVID test and I have sinusitis, so I was nervous. But the guy who did the test was so funny and nice and he helped me feel at ease. And even though it was uncomfortable he was skilled and I had no lasting discomfort. Thank you!

Set up an appointment online the night before. Quick check in. Courteous, compassionate, professional health worker. Clear instructions. Then the test. (Wow, I did not know that my sinuses went that far up!) It brought a few tears to my eyes, but was over in a jiffy. Drove right on out. Less than 20 minutes. I guess I got lucky. I had no idea how comforting getting a test would be. I recommend King County free Coronavirus testing to everybody who's heart still beats.

I have I have severe allergies so my sinuses were super sensitive. I must admit I fought the test a little bit, but the gentleman that helped us was extremely patient with me. I wish there had been a cheek swab or blood test available, but as far as the test went it was the best it could be for me.

- Verified patient on 5/1

Despite the test itself being as bad as I had heard, I thought this was done very efficiently. The person who did my test accurately guessed that I’ve had problems with sinus infections and suggested that I get a dehumidifier while I wait for results as he suspected my symptoms might be from a sinus infection. I was very impressed.

Staff were very friendly and gently swabbed our sinuses while counting down which was very much appreciated. They even gave offered our a dog a treat!

- Verified patient on 1/18

I was dreading going but my experience was incredible! Pulled up, no wait, swabbed and on my way. I have really sensitive sinuses, usually swabbing really hurts me, it was painless! The lady way amazing.

About Sinusitis

Sinus infection treatments are used to treat a sinus infection, which is an inflammation of the sinuses (the cavities within the bones surrounding the nose). If you feel like you have a cold that won't go away, chances are you've got a sinus infection and that requires treatment. You could try home remedies to treat it, but the best way to get rid of a sinus infection is by going to the doctor and getting the appropriate treatment. Treatment for a sinus infection can help clear up symptoms you might be feeling, including headaches, nasal congestion or stiffness, a postnasal drip, pain in the teeth, discolored nasal discharge, fever, tenderness of the face (especially underneath your eyes and near the bridge of your nose), fatigue, and bad breath.

It's important to get treatment for a sinus infection as soon as you start experiencing the symptoms and realize it's not just a common cold. See your healthcare professional to help diagnose it and get the right treatment. You might be prescribed antibiotics or given a nasal saline wash, a nasal spray, antihistamines, nasal decongestants and antihistamines, or a topical nasal corticosteroid. If all else fails, your doctor may recommend surgery as a last resort.
