Legacy Community Health, Montrose is a retail clinic in Houston and is open today from 8:00AM to 8:00PM. They are located at 1415 California St and open6 days per week. Of course it's always best to call in advance to confirm hours of operation before walking in.
Retail clinics offer a wide range of services overlapping considerably with those of a traditional walk-in urgent care center. That said, they are usually staffed by a Practitioner (NP) rather than a medical doctor and generally do not have an on-site x-ray or lab services, which will prevent them from seeing patients with more advanced injuries and illnesses.

This clinic was bought out by methodist. Since then, most LGBT people, that used to go there have been back stabbed, including myself. I was told by a case manager the new methodist owners increased funding for pregnant women and stopped the LGBT care. I had to give up my spot at Legacy, where I thought I would be taken care of in a LGBT accepting way, for a pregnant woman. The case manager made it sound like the LGBT crowd is some underworld, that causes drama and scared the little children in the lobby, not exaggerating. Also, the clinic will turn on you no questions asked if you are honest with them about being promiscuous and wanting help with sexual health. If someone that stick up their booty at the bath house and engages in impulsive unsafe sex, then goes and says to the clinic that they think they were infected by someone in particular, that they had a falling out with, the clinic will turn on whoever they are playing victim about and treat whoever it is like they are bad people, not even asking them questions to get their side. These are the same stories I have heard from countless LGBT people, that used to go there.
