How much is a Huntsville Hospital Urgent Care Telemedicine visit?
Self-Pay: $70 (Credit Card or Debit card accepted; to be paid prior to the video visit)
Insurance: If you have commercial insurance, we will verify insurance information and collect $70 toward the patient's responsibility prior to visit. We will file the claim with the patient’s insurance company.
For patients with Medicare, Medicaid, and TRICARE, we will verify eligibility based on the insurance information supplied and file a claim on your behalf.

Scheduling and confusion of account numbers resulted in the delay in appointment time due to the confusion. And they claimed I had to pay a large balance before I could be seen, based off of the wrong account number. I did pay the large almost $444 balance. It took 2 additional phone calls to double check account balances and sort put that my original account was in fact a zero balance and extra steps (that they did take thankfully) to ensure I was still in cue for an appointment. My appointment was at 4. I logged on as instructed at 3:45. I was notified I couldn't be seen due to an account balance (the wrong account mistakenly associated with my information). I paid this balance promptly. I then called the sister company that handles finances, the number I was given from solv/telemedicine text communication, to ensure the balance was paid. This is where I found out I had paid on an account that was not mine, the account number that was given to me. The billing lady confirmed my correct account number and that I had a zero balance. They claimed the computer can confuse things. I cannot be refunded my money because of this mistake until 5-7 days from now. I think it is ridiculous that I cannot be refunded my $444 that was mistakenly taken from me. I shouldn't have to wait 5-7 business days to get money back that I did not owe, because the doctors office (computer or person) I was trying to get a telemedicine appointment with confused account numbers amd claimed “I had to pay the balance associated with the account before being seen”. Here I am sick and fatigued and need to be seen. So I PAID someone else's balance, I am out $444 for 7 whole days, and my appointment was delayed. I had to expend time snd energy that I did not have to figure out all of this amd ensure I was in cue for an appointment. The billing staff at Huntsville Hospital Urgent Care and office lady at Hospital Urgent Care were understanding and pleasant to speak to. The provider that I spoke with listened, was patient, pleasant, and helpful. I would recommend Yaleshia Taylor. I would also caution ⚠️ anyone doing business with either company as a patient or provider that the computer systems and/or personas that operate it may be violating HIPPA.

I develop symptoms of a stye on my right eyelid. I felt this was the time sensitive problem because if this was also pink eye, I would be unable to teach my class on Sunday morning. The physicians assistant I spoke with was very thorough. She asked questions, and at the conclusion of our conversation she called in a prescription for an antibiotic ointment and eyedrops. My prescriptions were ready to be picked up within 45 minutes. I was very satisfied with the care that I received.

This is my favorite way to get care! The wait was a little long but it was so worth it for the convenience of the visit and the expertise of my nurse practitioner. She was able to quickly assess my needs and determine a course of treatment. The prescriptions were dispatched to the correct pharmacy and that was it. Perfect!

I had UTI symptoms. Did not want to go wait at Urgent care. I joined, filled out paperwork and was assigned an appointment time. Appointment went well and after assessment Dr called in meds for me. All was done in less time than getting dressed and driving to Dr office. I was very pleased. I would recommend.
