Most occupational medicine services, particularly those involving workplace-related incidents, require employer authorization prior to receiving care as the clinic is contracted with employers directly and payment is handled through the employer or their insurance carrier. Once you have your employers approval, you should be able to contact the clinic directly to schedule an appointment.

Generally speaking, a co-pay for the visit itself will range from $35-75 with lab tests and other services possibly increasing that total, which your employer will likely cover if it is a workplace-related incident. Without insurance, the self-pay price of a visit will likely be between $100-250 depending on the reason for visit or prescribed treatment plan. Additional services such as lab tests, x-rays, medications, and other services may be additional costs. Please make sure to talk with your provider and your employer about the costs prior to receiving treatment.

As an occupational health clinic, Worksite Labs treats a range of non-emergent workplace-related injuries and illnesses, as well as provides certain preventative care. More specifically, Worksite Labs will provide a variety of workers compensation services as well as vaccinations, annual exams and sports physicals, general

and screenings, and diagnose and treat routine conditions like the common cold,

, infections, rashes, allergies, strep throat, and more.

Similarly to an urgent care center, you may see one or more different types of healthcare providers at an occupational health clinic. Most commonly your initial intake will be managed by a nurse (RN) or medical assistant (MA), while your exam and diagnosis will be conducted by a physician (MD or DO), physician assistant (PA), or nurse practitioner (NP). For nearly all occupational health providers, however, a physician directs the care provided to every patient.
